Nothing much going on with the pre-show worth talking about.
Cruiserweight Championship Match: Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Akira Tozawa
RESULT: Buddy Murphy retains the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Very good match, especially for an opener. I keep harping on this, but I'll say it again, that you all need to be watching 205 Live!
Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Nia Jax and Tamina vs. The Riott Squad vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs. The IIconics vs. Naomi and Carmella
RESULT: Bayley and Sasha Banks win the titles by last eliminating Fire & Desire
THOUGHTS: Good match with the right outcome. Major thumbs up.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Miz and Shane McMahon (c) vs. The Usos
Maryse comes out with The Miz to announce that she's pregnant again.
RESULT: The Usos win the titles by pinfall!
THOUGHTS: Wow. Didn't see that one coming. Hm....
Intercontinental Championship Handicap Match: Bobby Lashley (c) and Lio Rush vs. Finn Balor
RESULT: Finn Balor wins the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: WWE is just course-correcting for WrestleMania tonight, aren't they? Wow. The match itself...eh. But I'm cool with the title change.
Raw Women's Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Ruby Riott
RESULT: Ronda Rousey retains the title by submission
THOUGHTS: This went down as we all expected. Nothing to see here.
After the match, Charlotte Flair (who was ringside to watch the match) comes in to the ring. Becky Lynch comes from the crowd in crutches and wails on Flair, then Rousey, before she's ushered out by security.
No Disqualification Match: Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin
RESULT: Baron Corbin wins by pinfall with help from Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre
THOUGHTS: Knew it. This sets up a variety of matches over the next bunch of weeks, especially once Strowman gets some buddies to help him against that trio.
Lacey Evans comes out to...walk halfway down the ramp and turn right around again and leave. Okay. That was something.
WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe
RESULT: Daniel Bryan retains the title by last eliminating Kofi Kingston
THOUGHTS: Great to see people so firmly behind Kofi Kingston like this. The match itself was good, but not great. Everyone else other than Kingston didn't really shine in any way.
