WWE Crown Jewel 2019 Results

20-Man Battle Royal for United States Championship Shot

* During this match, R-Truth pinned Sunil Singh to win the 24/7 Championship.

RESULT: Humberto Carrillo won by last eliminating Erick Rowan.
THOUGHTS: Normal battle royal with a predictable outcome.

WWE Championship Match: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Cain Velasquez

RESULT: Lesnar retained by submission.
THOUGHTS: Pretty quick. Basically just a bunch of pushing each other and punching like an MMA fight. I'm surprised Velasquez tapped out.

Post-match, Lesnar kept the Kimura Lock on. Rey Mysterio attacked Lesnar with a chair, but Lesnar fought him off and took out Velasquez with the chair. Mysterio came back with another chair, wailing away at Brock, until the champ got away and they did the normal thing where he's on the ramp, but Mysterio just keeps inviting him to get back into the ring instead of going after him a few feet away.

Tag Team Turmoil World Cup Match

- Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode defeated The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik)
- Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode eliminated Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder (that was quick)
- Heavy Machinery beat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode
- The New Day took out Heavy Machinery
- The B-Team was the next gone with Big E pinning Curtis Axel
- The New Day defeated The Revival (Dawson and Wilder gave Kingston a Shatter Machine after the match)
- The O.C.'s Anderson and Gallows beat The New Day
- The O.C. defeated The Viking Raiders

RESULT: The O.C. won by last eliminating The Viking Raiders
THOUGHTS: WOW. I did not at all see The O.C. winning this, especially with The Viking Raiders being the final ones to come out. That's crazy.

Mansoor vs. Cesaro

RESULT: Mansoor won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Pretty damn good match! I enjoyed this a lot.

Braun Strowman vs. Tyson Fury

RESULT: Tyson Fury won by count-out.
THOUGHTS: Very underwhelming.

After the match, Strowman powerslammed Fury, who didn't sell it long enough, in my opinion, as he was right back up a moment or so later.

Backstage, Samir Singh managed to pin R-Truth to win the 24/7 Championship after R-Truth ran into a door.

United States Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Humberto Carrillo

RESULT: AJ Styles won by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Saw it on Monday. Didn't see anything here that made me feel anything. Hopefully, they're done with this.

Lacey Evans vs. Natalya

RESULT: Natalya won by submission.
THOUGHTS: We've seen the match a bunch of times, so that was nothing worth making a fuss over. But it's still awesome that this happened at all. It's about time.

Team Hogan vs. Team Flair

RESULT: Team Hogan won with Roman Reigns scoring a pin over Randy Orton.
THOUGHTS: Good enough. It did its job.

Universal Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Bray Wyatt

RESULT: Bray Wyatt won the title by pinfall
THOUGHTS: The match was lame. I'd like to say the right decision was made, but I have no faith WWE will have this work out well. They'll probably screw up the booking of all this and we'll look back and say "They really had no idea what to do with Wyatt and backed themselves into a corner."
