WWE Title Change: Roman Reigns Relinquishes Universal Championship on Raw 10/22/2018 | Smark Out Moment
Roman Reigns has vacated the WWE Universal Championship as of the October 22, 2018 edition of Monday Night Raw, clarifying that he is suffering from leukemia.

My immediate reaction: Wow. Wow. Holy shit, this is awful. I don't care what your position is as far as Reigns being champion and WWE's pet project, this is a terrible thing and I'm sure any rationally decent person hates that this is happening to him. I'm very happy the crowd chanted "thank you Roman" instead of cheering or something. I have no idea how this is going to factor into plans going forward in all different means, but in the grand scheme of things, that isn't as important as his health, and here's hoping there's good news coming soon.
