- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut
10. The Bella Twins [NR]
The Bellas made their return to in-ring action a couple of weeks ago and have been on a tear, picking up wins against deeply personal rivals and just generally being a huge part of the women's division since their return. With Brie fully immersed in the Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz storyline and Nikki Bella being rumored to go up against Ronda Rousey, the twins are on fire at the moment.
9. Samoa Joe [No Change]
Samoa Joe and AJ Styles traded an entertaining promo this week with nothing physical going down between the two stars. The rivalry sits pretty much in the same place it was last week, and Joe is still a major threat to take the title from AJ Styles. With a title shot this Sunday, Joe remains one of the biggest power players in the locker room who is always a legitimate threat to take out anyone, and this weekend that could be the WWE Champion.
8. Daniel Bryan [No Change]
Brie Mode picked up the win against Maryse and the rivalry is tipping into the YES! Mode team's favor. While Bryan did not have a match this week, he benefits from Brie's win heading into the mixed tag team match this Sunday at Hell in a Cell.
7. The Shield [+3]
The Hounds of Justice gained some momentum back after having been decimated two weeks in a row by Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler. They beat the living crap out of nearly every heel on Raw in their attempt to reach the heel trio, and later on Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose got some revenge against the new tag team champs. To end the show Roman Reigns took out Braun Strowman with a nasty Samoan Drop, and stood tall to close the show.
6. Velveteen Dream [+1]
The Dream keeps getting bigger, and he did so this past weekend by actually heading to smaller promotions. He spent time with EVOLVE Wrestling this past weekend, picking up wins in his hometown in Maryland and in Queens, NY. He continues to prove his worth to WWE and his attraction resonates with the indie crowd as well.
5. The New Day [No Change]
Still holding strong in the middle of the Power Rankings, The New Day are heading into Hell in a Cell to face off against Rusev Day. Although the new found success of Rusev Day is impressive, they will enter the match as underdogs. It's hard to see The New Day dropping the titles to Rusev and Aiden English and this favorable matchup keeps them in place on the rankings.
4. AJ Styles [No Change]
Styles cut a great no-nonsense promo video package that aired during SmackDown Live, and the champ is ready for Samoa Joe on Sunday. The champ doesn't seem to be under the pressure of Joe's mind games at the moment, and focused AJ is a very scary AJ.
3. Becky Lynch [No Change]
Can the Irish Lasskicker do any wrong right now? She disguised herself in the crowd and jumped Charlotte following her match with Sonya Deville. It was another brilliant heel move and raises her danger level another notch. Is there anything low she won't stoop to to finally get her hands back on the women's title?
2. The Show w/ Braun Strowman [-1]
The power trial got knocked down a rung, looking human again on this week's Raw. They are still all threats to win their matches at Hell in a Cell, despite The Shield standing strong on Monday night. A minor setback for a group that can very well claim dominance on Sunday.
1. Ronda Rousey [+1]
Ronda is selling injury for the first time in her short WWE career, but she's still on top of the world in WWE at the moment. There's little to no chance Bliss will win her rematch, and Ronda is set to keep the momentum going through to Evolution.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Triple H - Another strong promo in the build up to Super Show Down in October. No one is currently better on the mic with a more intriguing story right now.The Undertaker - He was #6 last week, but he'll be back on Raw next week and who knows where this feud will go next.
Sonya Deville - Deville put on one hell of a match against Charlotte Flair this week.
Kevin Owens - A new found friendship with the acting Raw general manager means Owens once again some authority figure in his back pocket.
Randy Orton - He's got a killer instinct focused squarely on Jeff Hardy and he's a favorite in a Hell in a Cell match against the enigma.
BIGGEST MOVES THIS WEEK
The Shield +3
The Show w/ Braun Strowman -1
