Smark Out Moment

This week's episode of WWE NXT was taped on July 18, 2018 at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers of the results from the original tapings. WWE may choose to edit things differently, rearrange or add other supplemental content.

• Heavy Machinery defeated The Mighty
• Moustache Mountain defeated State Line. After the match, they challenged The Undisputed Era for the NXT Tag Team Championship at TakeOver: Brooklyn.
• EC3 defeated Kona Reeves. The Velveteen Dream cut a promo on EC3 here.
• Shayna Baszler defeated Candice LeRae. After the match, Kairi Sane saves LeRae from being beaten down by Baszler.
• Tommaso Ciampa cuts a promo on NXT belonging to him, now that he's champion. Aleister Black comes out, but Johnny Gargano beats him to the punch, attacking Ciampa, who runs off. Black blames Gargano for Ciampa being champion and lays him out with a Black Mass kick.
