TOURNAMENT BRACKET

FIRST IMPRESSIONS FROM PARADE OF CHAMPIONS

Since I was unaware of a good number of these women, my first look at them was in the Parade of Champions special.

For those who want to know, I had obviously been exposed to the people from last year's tournament (Kavita Devi, Mercedes Martinez, Mia Yim, Rachel Evers, Reina Gonzalez, Rhea Ripley, Taynara Conti, Toni Storm and Xia Li) as well as Kaitlyn, Ashley Rayne and Deonna Purrazzo, and momentarily the women from the NXT UK tournament special (Isla Dawn, Jinny and Killer Kelly). The rest were just names and faces for the most part.

I actually didn't get any good read on any of them as potential winners, so my gut reaction was to just throw my hands up in the air and say "I don't know, they seemed to make a big deal abut Io Shirai and Tegan Nox. Let's go with one of those two."

UPCOMING PREDICTIONS

Since the tapings are going to spoil mostly everything, it's hard for me to give predictions without even knowing the bracket structure at the time. However, in a general sense, I'd say Io Shirai stands out to me as the potential winner.
