WWE Super Show-Down 2018 Results

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. The Bar

RESULT: The New Day retain the titles by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Decent enough opener. These guys are all talented enough that that was a given, as they're reliable to put on performances like this all the time. Here's hoping it goes up from here, rather than down.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair

RESULT: Charlotte Flair won by disqualification; Becky Lynch retains the title
THOUGHTS: I hate it when WWE has the plan to drag a feud out as long as possible and you can tell that they're gonna go with a DQ just to have this match again at Evolution. Lame ending, especially since the crowd wants to cheer Becky and WWE is adamantly trying to force her to be a heel (and failing). The match itself was good, but not something memorable.

John Cena and Bobby Lashley vs. Kevin Owens and Elias

RESULT: John Cena and Bobby Lashley won by pinfall (Cena pins Elias)
THOUGHTS: ....is Cena's new finisher literally just a wrist to the face?

The IIconics vs. Asuka and Naomi

RESULT: The IIconics win by pinfall (Royce pins Naomi)
THOUGHTS: Good for them. Shame the match doesn't matter and nobody will remember anything about it five minutes from now. Still glad they gave those two the win, though.

WWE Championship No Disqualification Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe

RESULT: AJ Styles retains the title by submission
THOUGHTS: Well, this was a good match, but I'm definitely disappointed Joe still isn't the champion. It makes me sad to think he's probably never going to win the title.

Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins vs. The Riott Squad

RESULT: Ronda Rousey and The Bella Twins win by submission
THOUGHTS: Blah. At least Brie Bella didn't botch anything too crazy here.

Cruiserweight Championship Match: Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Buddy Murphy

RESULT: Buddy Murphy won the title by pinfall!
THOUGHTS: Awesome match, very happy with the outcome, and I hope this turns people on to 205 Live. That show is so good and deserves so many more viewers.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: The Shield vs. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre

RESULT: The Shield won by pinfall (Dean Ambrose pins Dolph Ziggler)
THOUGHTS: It was fine. If this were the main event of Raw, it would be good. On a pay-per-view, even one that's a glorified house show, it's just something that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, as this feud will continue Monday night and onward.

#1 Contender's Match: Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

RESULT: Daniel Bryan wins by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Super abrupt ending that really kind of sucked the wind out of everything. The match itself was just getting going. Disappointing. At least Bryan/Styles will be good until The Miz or Randy Orton interrupts.

No Disqualification Match: The Undertaker (with Kane) vs. Triple H (with Shawn Michaels)

RESULT: Triple H wins by pinfall. They all embrace at the end, but The Brothers of Destruction go back on the attack to lay out DX for the end of the show.
THOUGHTS: Better than I expected, thanks to the No DQ stipulation.
