WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week: #197: Finn Balor Steals the Top Spot and Could Steal MITB Briefcase | Smark Out Moment
Welcome to another edition of POWER RANKINGS from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:

NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. NAOMI [+0]

Naomi and the Usos are continuing their feud with Lana and Rusev. Although Naomi keeps getting the better of Lana, it isn't doing much for her in the long run.

24. BARON CORBIN [NR]

In the near future, Corbin could actually end up becoming the first win in 200 matches for Curt Hawkins.

23. MUSTAFA ALI [NR]

Ali was just a moment away from putting away Buddy Murphy, but Hideo Itami interrupted and took out both competitors.

22. UNDISPUTED ERA [NR]

Roderick Strong went one on one with Danny Burch and was successful. In a post-match brawl between the two rival teams, the heels were standing tall in the end.

21. BAYLEY [NR]

When Sasha Banks was left alone to battle the Riott Squad after Bliss and Moon were knocked out of the match, Bayley ran in the ring for the pin and win. In controversy, she was ultimately deemed ineligible and the pin did not count.

20. HIDEO ITAMI [NR]

Itami broke up the best match of the night on 205 Live, beating down both Ali and Murphy. This seems to insert Itami into the title picture.

19. THE MIZ [-5]

He lost the main event match against The New Day, but Miz is still thriving in the rivalry and constantly improving inside the ring.

18. LUKE GALLOWS + KARL ANDERSON [NR]

Gallows and Anderson are the contenders to the Bludgeon Brothers and a roll-up pin victory gives them some hope ahead of their title match.

17. B-TEAM [+3]

In a battle royal to determine a new tag team contender, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel upset everyone and won the right to a title shot.

16. KAIRI SANE [NR]

Sane beat Lacey Evans in a hard fought match on NXT. Sane is worthy of a title shot after Nikki Cross and even Evans is shaping up to be a future contender.

15. DANIEL BRYAN [-6]

Bryan wasn't on SmackDown Live this week, but he did cut a backstage promo in response to Cass. His promo was pure fire and he is carrying this feud himself so far.

14. BLUDGEON BROTHERS [NR]

The tag team champs for the blue brand were upset by their new contenders, but they are still the heavy favorites to retain.

13. THE SHOW [-5]

Drew and Dolph were part of the battle royal, but were not victorious. However, they were the best team overall in the ring and are a nice pairing.

12. CARMELLA [NR]

The champ has bounced back after her fiery promo with Asuka, where she was a true heel. Sadly, it doesn't change the fact that she is less than stellar in the ring.

11. JOHNNY GARGANO [NR]

Gargano won the latest battle in the war between him and Ciampa. He left his former partner busted open and bloodied.

10. NIA JAX [+1]

Jax battled Natalya, but due to an injury, Jax picked up an easy victory. Her future title defense against Rousey is not too great at the moment.

9. SHINSUKE NAKAMURA [-5]

Nakamura faced Styles in a contract signing, but it got physical when Styles slapped his challenger.

8. ASUKA [-2]

Asuka's pride was attacked by Carmella, but she showed how powerful she is by beating both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville at the same time.

7. NEW DAY [+0]

The trio is still teasing which member will be in the MITB ladder match.

6. AJ STYLES [NR]

Styles was able to lay a hand on Shinsuke after their contract signing got out of control.

5. BECKY LYNCH [NR]

Lynch got the better of her best friend Charlotte Flair and it should push her in the right direction for a title shot.

4. ELIAS [+15]

He is looked in with a feud with the best man on Raw, Seth Rollins. Elias is taking the fight to the champ and their title match could be a show-stopper.

3. SETH ROLLINS [-2]

Rollins is knocked out of the top spot, but he could bounce back if he gets the better of his rival Elias at MITB and can retain his belt.

2. BRAUN STROWMAN [+1]

Strowman battled Roode on Raw and he was a monster on the loose. It kind of hurts his credibility that he is being booked so randomly though.

1. FINN BALOR [+12]

Balor fought with Kevin Owens in the main event on Raw. Balor is being booked as if he is the likely one to win the MITB contract.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Buddy Murphy - Murphy nearly lost to Ali before being attacked by Itami, which means he may get another shot at him.

Charlotte Flair - Flair lost to Becky Lynch, but The Queen will bounce back next week.

Tommaso Ciampa - Gargano won the latest battle in their war and left Ciampa bloodied.

Nikki Cross - Cross stole the title and is set for a title match with Baszler.

Curt Hawkins - Mr. 200 could pick up his first win in the next few weeks.

BIGGEST MOVES THIS WEEK

Elias +15
Daniel Bryan-6
