Here is the key code for the rankings shorthand when referencing their position in relation to the previous week:
NR = Not included in last week's rankings at all
+ Green = the number of moves up in the rankings compared to last week
- Red = the number of moves down in the rankings compared to last week
Honorable Mentions = five superstars who just barely missed the cut
25. NO WAY JOSE [NR FIRST TIME RANKED]
Jose got an upset victory over Baron Corbin, but it may seem like a fluke win for now.
24. DREW GULAK [NR]
Gulak is building quite a resume off of the Cruiserweight Tournament and Gauntlet Match. After taking down Kalisto in a hard-fought match, Gulak could receive a title match.
23. CARMELLA [-3]
The champion is reeling and falling down the rankings, which doesn't speak well for her reign. Carmella might not be able to battle Flair one-on-one and win.
22. ROMAN REIGNS [-7]
WWE needs to do something with Reigns before he is a complete lost cause. He is obviously not a fan to the Canadian crowds and not over with many people these days.
21. BECKY LYNCH [NR]
Lynch could be on the verge of a new path in WWE. She is becoming the "weak-link" of the three top female faces on SmackDown and it could be wearing down on her.
20. RANDY ORTON [NR]
The Viper is showing that there are no real friends in this company, just more targets for an RKO. He teamed with Jeff Hardy in a tag match and then dropped Hardy after their won with an RKO.
19. BIANCA BELAIR [NR FIRST TIME RANKED]
Belair was able to showcase her in-ring talents this week, although she was used as a side piece in the Gargano-Ciampa story. With her talents now shown to the public, she could get a singles push.
18. MATT HARDY+ BRAY WYATT [-6]
The new Raw Tag Team Champions ares still fresh and exciting, but the creative team needs to continue the flair with them that had them popular enough to win the titles in the first place.
17. THE MIZ [NR]
The Miz did what he does best: manipulation on the mic. He helped stir the US title picture during Miz TV and also gave some foreshadowing into his potential feud with Daniel Bryan.
16. NIA JAX [NR]
Jax hasn't be used much these past few weeks, as Bliss has been carrying the feud with her awfully scripted promos. This week, Jax came out to congrats Natalya and Rousey instead of attacking Bliss.
15. ELIAS [NR]
The Drifter has been ruining Bobby Roode's momentum that he carried over from NXT and SmackDown. His impressive outings will likely result in an IC title match.
14. THE IICONICS [-5]
Carmella's "sidekicks" are showing the world that they can handle themselves in the ring with the likes of Asuka and Flair. However, they weren't as successful as they have been over the last few weeks.
13. FINN BALOR [+9]
Could we see The Demon soon? Balor once again came up just short of defeating Rollins for his belt. With so many short-comings, we could see The Demon break through, which is what this awesome feud is missing.
12. KEVIN OWENS + SAMI ZAYN [NR]
The hometown "heroes" were welcomed with open arms when they arrived on Canadian soil for Raw. They lost their match, but at least they have Canada backing them up.
11. BIG CASS [-4]
Cass has returned revitalized and stronger, but he still can't carry a promo on his own yet.
10. ASUKA [NR]
The Empress is back as she got a much-needed victory after she has been on the decline as of late to the rookies. The question is whether or not she can continue her momentum.
9. UNDISPUTED ERA [+4]
The NXT's strongest faction is on a crash-course with Dunne and his new allies, likely leading to a six-man tag match that should main event the show.
8. AJ STYLES [-2]
The WWE Champion is battling foes on both sides. Shinsuke is still on the prowl for low blows and cheap shots and now Samoa Joe is throwing his hat into the ring for the title.
7. RONDA ROUSEY [-2]
Rousey accompanying Natalya is a nice gesture, but a backwards story. Usually the veteran accompanies the rookie to their matches, not the other way around. It speaks highly for Rousey though that she is the aid to such an established veteran.
6. RIOTT SQUAD [NR]
Ruby Riott knocked Sasha Banks out cold. Yes, she had help from the outside, but she ultimately knocked out a former champion.
5. CHARLOTTE FLAIR [+6]
Charlotte is turning the tables for her rematch against Carmella. The champion is cowardly and her goons are scared as well. Doesn't hurt to have Asuka on your side.
4. SAMOA JOE [NR]
Samoa Joe has his hat in several rings, all against premier opponents. He will battle Roman Reigns at Backlash to help settle their long-time rivalry. He also has his sights set on a life-long opponent in Styles for his title.
3. SHINSUKE NAKAMURA [+0]
Backlash is right around the corner and Nakamura has a great chance to dethrone Styles as he has had the champion on the defense for weeks now.
2. BRAUN STROWMAN [+0]
Why is Braun not ranked first? He is just short because WWE is just short of pushing him over Reigns for top spot in the company. The company is clearly high on him, but haven't fully committed to the big man yet.
1. SETH ROLLINS [+3]
Here is someone that WWE is pushing that may be the one person who deserves it more than Strowman. Rollins is the main event of the show as the midcard champion. WWE has been well-focused on the Intercontinental Championship for quite some time now and it continues the trend for Rollins.
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Pete Dunne - The Bruiserweight is butting heads with the Undisputed ERA, one of the top groups in WWE right now.
Authors of Pain - The former NXT tag champs are slowly losing their momentum on Raw.
Jeff Hardy - The US champ has The Viper lurking in the background.
New Day - The New Day has been quite since the Superstar Shakeup, but at least got a singles victory over Sheamus.
Titus Worldwide - Big surprise here, WWE has Titus trying to cash in on his botch at GRR. It won't last long.
BIGGEST MOVES THIS WEEK
Finn Balor +9
Roman Reigns -7
