Do you have a question that you want to ask the minds over at Smark Out Moment? Our version of the WWE Inbox is the Smark Out Moment Mailbag. Once a month, we set aside some time to answer any of the questions on your mind, whether they be wrestling related, trivia to try to stump us, or just general questions to get to know Tony Mango and the other members of the team better.

Here are your submissions for this month:


Question: "Is it fair to say Sasha Banks is the best in ring performer of any of the women on any roster in WWE today? I mean she's literally given, Asuka, Charlotte, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Sonya Deville, Paige & even fucking Ruby Riott the best matches of their careers!"

Answer: Banks is certainly in the running, if not at the top. I think Flair might have surpassed her, but if not Flair, I think I'd go with Banks.

Question: "Who do you think WWE will choose as the cover star for WWE 2K19?"

Answer: I'd assume either Braun Strowman or Daniel Bryan.

Question: "Strowman vs Styles vs Rollins vs Bryan? Who's getting the biggest pop"

Answer: Daniel Bryan, but it would be interesting to see who people cheer for overall.


Question: "Could Brock Lesnar hold the WWE Universal championship and the UFC Heavyweight Championship titles at the same time?"

Answer: I guess he technically could, but I don't think that will ever happen as at least one of those companies would probably not want him to be focusing on the other one at the same time.

Question: "Is WWE Clash of Champions a co branded ppv? If so could the WWE unify title belts at the event?"

Answer: Yup, all events are co-branded now. I'm really suspicious of how Survivor Series and Clash of Champions are going to play out, now that we know SmackDown is moving to FOX in 2019.


Question: "Tony you can just write this on the site, but are you taking any stat from Sexy Superstar tournament for the tournament next month?"

Answer: I'll definitely be looking at the stats that you've sent and factoring those into the way the brackets are balanced, but I'm not going to know too much of what to do with that until after the preliminary votes.

Question: "What do you put on your hamburgers?"

Answer: Cheese, bacon, lettuce, and that's it most likely, but sometimes a fried egg or crispy onion straws or something like that.

Question: "Do you think Statler and Waldorf of The Muppets are gay?"

Answer: ROFL I never thought of that.

Question: "If your birthday is before August 7th which Pokémon in the Pokedex are you? I just make the list at 806 Blacephalon"

Answer: Apparently I'm Pawniard, which Caroline thinks looks like me because of the dark circles around its eyes and the spiky head.

Question: "What is the worst theme song opening for TV show you've ever heard? Answer and reason asking Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Ultra Adventures. How Disney fuck that up?"

Answer: Oh God, I'm sure there are a thousand answers to this, but I tend to block them out and I can't think of any off the top of my head. The only things I can think of are old TV shows, like Mama's House.

Question: "Do you think UpUpDownDown will ever play Pokémon? I don't want a let's play I want completive matches or a tournament"

Answer: I wouldn't be too shocked if they played Pokemon in some capacity, but it seems like it would be the wrong type of game for that format as they wouldn't be able to get too far, so I'd say more than likely not.

Question: "I know I didn't like Ash's Pikachu talking especially because Ash's is a boy with a female voice, but what do you think of Detective Pikachu talking in the game? PS no spoilers for end game watching playthrough on Twitch and Youtube"

Answer: Never played the game, actually, but Pokemon talking in any fashion is weird to me, unless they're psychic and it's telepathic.

Question: "Do you believe in conspiracy theories? Government and Cartoon or whatever else. I really like the theory Elsa and Anna from Frozen are Rapunzel's cousin from Tangled, their parents were going to the wedding on ship we met Ariel in Little Mermaid, the parents give birth to Tarzan. I also like Ariel and Hercules are cousins because Zeus and Triton are brother in Greek Mythology"

Answer: I'm going to save this for the podcast, but I totally believe in some conspiracy theories. Fan theories is also one of the subreddits I'm subscribed to, even though most of them tend to be awful haha

Question: "Which The Simpsons future prediction is most interesting to you? Disney buying Fox is cool"

Answer: The Donald Trump presidency thing is probably the weirdest to me, as it was a joke even when he was running.

Question: "As you know The Simpsons predicted Donald Trump would become president. In that scene Milhouse says the country is broke and Lisa says she is the first straight female president. Do you think they will be right?"

Answer: Nope, Lisa isn't going to be the first straight female president haha.

Question: "Do you The Rock can win the presidency for the first time every as an independent party?"

Answer: Part of me thinks he would have a legitimate chance if he were to run, but since it's already 2018 and he hasn't said anything, I don't think it's going to happen.

Question: "What do you think of Ned Flanders taking over Edna Krabapple class?"

Answer: That's going on right now? I haven't seen the show in a few years. I suppose they could have gone with a different choice that would have been worse, but maybe one that could have been better.

Question: "What TV show season starts off bad, but after the season break come back is on fire. I pick Gothom season 2-4 started off bad and now is my favorite show on TV"

Answer: The first half of the first season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't all that impressive, but it got a lot better.

Question: "Do you think Eddie Guerrero had bad luck in Ladder Matches? The fan with RVD and Vickie late against Rey Mysterio Jr"

Answer: To be honest, I don't remember much of Eddie's history with ladder matches to be able to judge anything all that much.

Question: "Which tag teams if any do you think after breaking up failed to be good singles guys? This might sound weird coming from me, but James Storm and Bobby Roode"

Answer: Cryme Tyme, American Alpha hasn't panned out yet, The Lucha Dragons, The Bella Twins don't work as well on their own as they do as a unit, Enzo and Cass to a certain extent, The Prime Time Players...

Question: "Do you care about the woman in WWE now? I don't care about anything they are doing"

Answer: I do, but not as much as I'm supposed to.

Question: "On Total Bella Cena flipped out Nikki didn't tell him a rug came. Nikki went on to say Cena has OCD. What do you think of Cena having OCD?"

Answer: I haven't seen anything that would indicate OCD to me, but if that's the case, at least he'd be organized, right?

Question: "I think Nikki and Cena breakup is bullshit. The whole Total Bella's season is around it is failing. I think it's all gimmick for the show and they'll be back together after the season is over. What do you think?"

Answer: Definitely thinking it's bullshit.

Question: "Do you think Brock is champion just as a fuck you to CM Punk to break the record?"

Answer: I think that's one of the reasons they're dragging this out instead of having him drop the title at the Greatest Royal Rumble or something.


Question: "Do you like how they are switching up the RAW Commentary teams, by rotating with Coach & Booker T?"

Answer: I'm okay with it. Booker can be fun in a weird way.

Question: "Thoughts on Ricochet so far? He is quickly becoming one of my favorites in NXT?"

Answer: He's not impressive on the mic, but he's fun to watch in the ring, so I'm down for him being worth a push in the future.

Question: "Do you think Bianca Belair should get more of a push?"

Answer: I think she's right where she needs to be right now, and I wouldn't be shocked at all if she's the next heel champion to beat the babyface who takes the title from Shayna Baszler.

Question: "Why do you think WWE is continuously punishing Lio Rush? Is it still for the Emma thing."

Answer: It could be that, or it could be that they just haven't thought of a reason to push him yet. I'm really surprised he isn't on 205 Live right now, actually.

Question: "Final NXT Question for now. GI'm thinking at Brooklyn for NXT, we're getting Black vs EC3, Cole vs Ricochet, hBaszler vs. Sane, ERA vs Raiders, Ciampa vs Gargano in a 30 Minute Iron Man Match. How does that sound?"

Answer: I'd be cool for that, yeah.

Question: "Now onto food. What is the most underrated and most overrated food?"

Answer: Buttered noodles are so amazing and nobody seems to give that enough credit. Mushrooms too. As far as overrated, definitely ketchup. Disgusting.

Question: "How often do you eat ice cream? I have a Dairy Queen by me here in NJ, so often for me lol."

Answer: I'm much more of a cookie guy than into ice cream, but soft serve is so good and nothing beats that if you're in the mood for it. Regular ice cream you can find in the store isn't all that amazing to me, though, so I don't eat that super often.

Question: "If you could make a 20 second phone call to anyone from the past, present, or future, when would you do and what would you say?"

Answer: I'd probably call my future self and just ask what advice I have for my current self to change the future for the better.

Question: "What would you name your kid (girl & boy) if you became a parent?"

Answer: I'm definitely leaning toward Nathan and Valerie.

Question: "Is it difficult for you, to look into someone's eyes and lie to them?"

Answer: Oddly, it's more difficult for me to look someone in the eyes when just talking to them randomly than it is to do so and lie. I'm a particularly good liar.

Question: "Did you or do you still do lie?"

Answer: I do sometimes just to see if I can get away with it and sharpen my skills, but I pride myself on being as truthful as I can on a regular basis.

Question: "You are in a plane, and there's a massive fire and you are going to die. Who would you make your last phone call to?"

Answer: Probably my mom.

Question: "Which one would you choose. Love with a guarantee of heartbreak, or no love at all?"

Answer: Love with a guarantee of heartbreak. You at least have fond memories to look back on.

Question: "Do you like pickles? Pickles are absolutely disgusting in my mind!"

Answer: Pickles are beyond gross.

Question: "Were you a fan of Dr Seuss books?"

Answer: Not really, but I thought some of them were okay.

Question: "Favorite board games? Trouble was a good one for me. Apples to Apple is always a good one, cards against humanity is sexually hilarious, and Candy Land was a awesome one as a little kid. But my favorite of ALL TIME, is hands down Monopoly!"

Answer: Clue was pretty much always my favorite, but I did like Monopoly, Trouble and some others.

Question: "Were you someone who would put their lunch in a lunch box or a bag as a kid?"

Answer: Lunch box for sure. Used to be one of those hard plastic ones like Street Fighter or Batman or something, but eventually a more canvas kind of one.

Question: "Did you have recess as a kid? If so what did u play?"

Answer: Recess was awesome! I used to just do whatever was popular at the time, like soccer in 2nd grade, "suicide" wall ball in 4th grade, etc.

Question: "To go back to NXT, but did you hear that at an NXT Live Event, they changed the winner to a match between Ohno and Chad Lail, because Lail was so over?"

Answer: Didn't pay much attention to that, but that's good. They should be willing to do that in those situations.

Question: "Do you think The Revival are moving down to NXT since they fought at a Live Event?"

Answer: Nope, but it's a shame WWE hasn't given The Revival any bit of a push, despite their injuries.

Question: "I'm having trouble figuring this out, but I can't tell if Candice LeRae is actually good on the mic. Is she?"

Answer: I think that she's okay, but nothing particularly amazing.

Question: "If Styles loses at MITB, what we he do at Summerslam? I think he has 3 options. 1 is taking on Samoa Joe in a regular match. 2 is facing Almas who beats Hardy at Extreme Rules for the US Title. Or 3, he faces winner of MITB for the Men side, The Miz in a regular match. Which one would you prefer?"

Answer: I'd be totally up for Almas taking the US title from Hardy and then Styles getting a shot, that sounds like a good plan to me.

Question: "Will you watch "All in"?"

Answer: If they stream it, yeah.

Question: "Is Seth Rollins the best worker in the company right now? In my opinion he is. And I may be going crazy here, but he is my opinion the second best in ring performer today, behind AJ."

Answer: He's got to be in the running for that spot, yeah. Styles is probably the top for me right now, though.

Question: "Do you like the B Team? There actually entertaining me."

Answer: They're okay to me, but nothing too special, and the act hasn't been as great as it originally was, to me.

Question: "Finally, after watching Mount Rushmore podcast I would be remiss if I didn't mention Edge. In my opinion I wouldn't put him on there either, but I think he should've been mentioned. Edge has one of the best gimmicks and he is great in the ring and really was a main focal point for WWE for awhile. Do you think someone could give you an argument for him to at least be close to the Rushmore or not? BTW, Undertaker is my favorite of all time followed by Edge at number 2."

Answer: Edge is in my top 10 favorite performers, most likely, but I don't think I could see a scenario of him being in the running for a Mount Rushmore of all time.
