  • Stephanie McMahon kicks off the show with a promo about how proud of herself she is for bringing out the best in Ronda Rousey and such. She introduces Rousey, then talks about how they're friends and such. Rousey hugs her, but then flips her over and attacks her arm some more. Hilariously, they had JoJo say "can we please have some respect for Stephanie McMahon" when she was being escorted out by the trainers.
  • They've already said the "sometimes, this crowd will boo who they normally cheer" company speak bullshit and immediately moved the discussion into a quick mention of Roman Reigns. Absolutely ridiculous.
  • Nia Jax and Ember Moon defeated Alexa Bliss and Mickie James by pinfall
  • Kurt Angle talks on the phone and implies that Ember Moon is now on the Raw roster. Braun Strowman interrupts with Nicholas. They're relinquishing the Raw Tag Team Championship because Nicholas has a scheduling conflict because he's in the fourth grade. As soon as he's done with school, they're coming back for the titles.
  • No Way Jose defeated John Skyler by pinfall in a few seconds
  • Sheamus and Cesaro ask Kurt Angle for their tag titles back, but he says four teams are going to fight for the right to challenge The Bar at the Greatest Royal Rumble to crown new champions.
  • The Revival defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson by pinfall to advance to the next round of the Tag Team Eliminator tournament
  • Seth Rollins celebrates his Intercontinental Championship win and becoming a grand slam champion. Finn Balor interrupts to ask for a title shot. Rollins accepts, but The Miz comes out to complain and say he's envoking his rematch clause at Backlash, and suggests The Miztourage against Balor and Rollins in a handicap match. Jeff Hardy comes out to be the third person to fight alongside Balor and Rollins. The Miztourage leave.
  • Mandy Rose defeated Sasha Banks by pinfall. This came about mostly because Bayley, who was ringside, accidentally hit Banks in an attempt to help her.
  • After the match, Paige grabs a microphone and mentions that she's unable to wrestle, finally acknowledging what we've all known. She thanks all of the women, her family, Daniel Bryan for inspiration, Edge as well for showing her there's a life outside of wrestling, the fans for their support. This is where she made her debut and this is where she's retiring. The crowd chants "this is your house" and she says "this will always be my house" before placing one of her shirts in the ring and making her exit.
  • Elias is in the ring. He calls the crowd scumbags and they chant "we are scumbags" (hahahaha) The audience totally supports him, including when he says he wants to punch them in the face. Bobby Lashley comes out to make his return, hitting Elias with a neckbreaker and an elongated standing vertical suplex to show off his power.
  • Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn come looking for a job, talking to Kurt Angle. "My tag team division is full, but I hear that TNA is hiring." WOW. Angle says that he has one spot on the roster and the two of them will face each other tonight for it.
  • Heath Slater and Rhyno issue an open challenge to any tag team in the back. The Authors of Pain answer the call. The Authors of Pain defeated Heath Slater and Rhyno by pinfall. Oddly enough, Akam and Rezar look to have ditched Paul Ellering as their manager.
  • Roman Reigns comes out. He complains about the Brock Lesnar situation and says if he keeps getting booked in matches against him, he'll win the Universal Championship. Samoa Joe interrupts to say Reigns always makes excuses and no matter what happens at the Greatest Royal Rumble, he'll be waiting at Backlash to put Reigns to sleep.
  • Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy defeated Titus Worldwide by pinfall. They will face The Revival next week for the title shot at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
  • Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn ends in a no-contest as neither answer the ten-count. It is announced that neither of them will join the Raw roster. The crowd starts chanting "New Japan"
  • Backstage, Matt Hardy bumps into Jeff Hardy (and Finn Balor and Seth Rollins). Bray Wyatt hugs Jeff and calls him Brother Nero. Wyatt says he feels wonderful. "What was that all about?" asks Finn. Jeff shrugs.
  • Jeff Hardy, Finn Balor and Seth Rollins defeated The Miztourage by pinfall (Rollins pins Miz)
