- Kurt Angle starts the show by talking about how he and Ronda Rousey will beat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania, before saying Brock Lesnar won't be there tonight. Roman Reigns comes out (and as he's walking to the ring, Jonathan Coachman literally says "Roman Reigns is beloved as far as the sports entertainment community is concerned." Wow. Reigns complains that this is disrespectful and he won't be disrespected by Vince McMahon after busting his ass and being on the road all the time and such, so he walks to the back production area and approaches Vince, who says to cut to commercial and they can talk.
- We come back from a commercial and Renee Young is outside a door, waiting for more on this story. Reigns comes out pissed and Vince comes out to say that Lesnar is his own man and that he does have some special treatment, but he's earned it and he respects competition, and Reigns should learn from The Rock's phrase "know your role and shut your mouth." He assures that Lesnar will be at Raw next week and will compete at WrestleMania. Reigns has also been temporarily suspended.
- Sasha Banks defeats Sonya Deville by submission
- The Miz hosts an edition of MizTV with guests Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. He tries to get them to argue with each other so they can focus less on him. It works, but it also doesn't. Standard triple threat scenario, where they haven't lost their attention on either of their opponents.
- The Miztourage get the jump on The Bar before their match begins. The Revival come out to join the fray, followed by The Good Brothers getting into the action, then Titus Worldwide and then Heath Slater and Rhyno. All of these teams are focusing on Sheamus and Cesaro, rather than a frenzy against each other. The Bar escape after taking a beating.
- John Cena comes out to say that this year, he'll be watching WrestleMania in the crowd as a fan. He goes into the crowd to interact with the audience and starts a "this is awesome" chant and tries to get a "let's go Roman" chant going, slyly. Then, he says he's going to do something he's not supposed to do and says "screw it, I challenge The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania." He specifies that he never questioned why he was told it is impossible and reiterates that he challenges The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania and his mic is still on, so it isn't WWE keeping it from happening. The only person keeping that from happening is The Undertaker. He addresses Undertaker: "Get over your own ego." He points out that Taker is hiding behind his lame excuses like being washed up and broken down and admit that he's embarrassed he lost, whereas Cena gets back up. He calls Undertaker a self-centered conceited egomaniac. If he were Taker, he'd want one more match. The ball is in his court. (Note: just watch this segment instead of reading this recap.)
- Backstage, The Bar complain to Kurt Angle that they just wanted the division to step up, not to attack them. They want to be traded to SmackDown right now. Angle suggests if they want competition, there will be a Raw tag team battle royal tonight to determine who their opponents are at WrestleMania.
- Elias comes out and really does nothing but say "this is your fault." Braun Strowman (in one of those dumb graphics promos) says it's ridiculous that he doesn't have something for WrestleMania and he's going to carve a path of destruction.
- Finn Balor defeats Seth Rollins by pinfall
- A Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal is announced for this year's WrestleMania.
- Asuka and Alexa Bliss and Mickie James talk, setting up a match between Asuka and James, that Asuka will undoubtedly win.
- Asuka defeats Mickie James by submission
- Backstage, Alexa asks Nia Jax where she was and why she didn't come out. Jax says she has a match next and Kurt Angle told her not to go out. Bliss reiterates that she's her best friend and she loves her and that she wanted to give her a chance to beat up Asuka. They hug it out. She needs Jax's word that next week, when she faces Asuka, she'll be in her corner.
- Nia Jax defeats Joan King by pinfall
- While Nia is in the ring, footage of Alexa and Mickie trash talking about her airs on the TitanTron, calling her Shrek and she uses her because she's vulnerable. "She's just as dumb as she is big." So on and so forth. Charly Caruso informs them that the microphone has been on the entire time and everyone has heard everything they've said. Jax runs to the back to get them, while they run out of the building. Jax trashes their luggage and such.
- The Ultimate Deletion is previewed. It's going to include all of the normal characters like Senor Benjamin and Vanguard 1.
- Braun Strowman comes out to add his name to the battle royal for the tag title shot. He wins the battle royal and earns a shot at the Raw Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, despite how he's only one person and not a tag team.
