Smark Out Moment

The latest round of tapings for WWE NXT were recorded on February 1, 2018 at the Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, GA. The following are spoilers of the results for the content during the tapings, which will appear on the next few episodes of NXT. WWE may choose to edit things differently, rearrange matches or add supplemental content.

February 1, 2018 Tapings:

• SAnitY attacks The Undisputed Era during their entrance, which sets up a six-man tornado tag match for later in the tapings
• Heavy Machinery defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss
• Johnny Gargano cut a promo on his match at TakeOver and Tommaso Ciampa attacking him from behind afterward. Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega interrupt to gloat about beating him. Candice LeRae attacks Vega. A match is made where if Gargano doesn't beat Almas for the title, he'll leave NXT forever.
• Bianca Belair defeated a jobber (name unreported at the moment)
• Six-Man Tornado Tag Team Match: SAnitY defeated The Undisputed Era when Killain Dain pins Bobby Fish
• TM61 defeated John Skyler and another jobber (name not reported at the moment)
• United Kingdom Championship Match: Pete Dunne (c) retained against Roderick Strong
• Aleister Black cuts a promo about wanting the NXT Championship when Killain Dain interrupts. They threaten each other. All is not well.
• Shayna Baszler defeated Ember Moon by disqualification when Kairi Sane attacks her to stop her from injuring Moon
• The Velveteen Dream defeated No Way Jose
• Nikki Cross defeated Vanessa Borne
• The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake) defeated two jobbers. They cut a promo afterward about the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
• NXT Championship Match: Andrade "Cien" Almas (c) retains against Johnny Gargano by pinfall after Tommaso Ciampa interferes. Gargano gets a standing ovation in the ring and is joined by Candice LeRae who hug him and raise his arm while Ciampa laughs at them.

February 2, 2018 Tapings:

• They did a do-over of the Nikki Cross vs. Vanessa Borne match, despite the finish being the same. Reports never said it was an awful match or had any botches in it, so that's interesting why they'd redo it.
• The Velveteen Dream defeated Tyler Bate
• Shayna Baszler defeated Kairi Sane
• Andrade "Cien" Almas and Zelina Vega cut a promo on Johnny Gargano's failure and how great they are. Aleister Black interrupts, but Killain Dain does the same and attacks him.
• Trevor "Ricochet" Mann defeated Fabian Aichner
• The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic begins with The Authors of Pain defeating TM61.
• Bianca Belair defeated a jobber.
• Tommaso Ciampa tries to cut a promo on Johnny Gargano, but the crowd keeps booing him, so he leaves.
• Aleister Black defeated Killian Dain.
• The Street Profits defeated Heavy Machinery to advance to round 2 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
• Dakota Kai defeated Lacey Evans. Shayna Baszler comes out, but is attacked by Ember Moon.
• SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe and Eric Young) defeated Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss to advance to round 2 of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic
• United Kingdom Championship Match: Pete Dunne (c) defeated Adam Cole by disqualification when The Undisputed Era attack. Roderick Strong makes the save.
• Zelina Vega and Aleister Black have a contract signing (Vega says Andrade "Cien" Almas isn't there tonight). Candice LeRae attacks Vega.
