• AJ Styles and Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan talk about the main event for tonight. Nothing interesting. They'll be ringside along with Kevin Owens.
• SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin def. The Usos (c) by pinfall to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship! - However, another referee comes out to explain that Gable wasn't the legal man to make the pin. They void those results and restart the match. 
• SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) def. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin by pinfall to retain their titles
• The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Breezango doesn't even officially start, as Harper and Rowan just start attacking Fandango and Tyler Breeze before the bell rings. The Ascension tries to come out to save them, but get beaten down as well.
• Backstage, The New Day want to celebrate 2018 with some pancakes. Rusev and Aiden English come over to blow out the candle and taunt them. 
• United States Championship Tournament Round 1 Match: Xavier Woods def. Aiden English by pinfall to move on to round 2
• The Riott Squad def. The Welcoming Committee by pinfall (Sarah Logan pins Tamina). After the match, Ruby Riott announces that the three of them will enter the Royal Rumble. Charlotte Flair comes out, followed by Naomi and Becky Lynch. The three babyfaces brawl with The Riott Squad and send them retreating.
• Sami Zayn def. AJ Styles by pinfall after a distraction from everyone ringside. After the match, Styles grabs a mic and says he wants a handicap match. Daniel Bryan announces that for the Royal Rumble.
