WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week #180

Posted by Wes Keefer Saturday, January 27, 2018
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. The Revival

The inevitable happened to the newly returned tag team. You call out legends just one week before they all return and you get beat down by them. They didn't even put up a fight. Hopefully this was just a show for Raw 25.

24. Kane

The closer we get to the Royal Rumble title match, the more is seems that Kane is just a not a factor in the match.

23. Titus Worldwide

On the biggest episode of Raw this year, Titus Worldwide was thrown into a filler match that was used to showcase returning stars. They seemed poised for a push, but this doesn't help.

22. Riott Squad

Liv Morgan had her own one on one match since debuting on the main roster, but wasn't as successful as her comrades. She has improved since she arrived to SmackDown, but is being booked as the weakest link.

21. Seth Rollins

Rollins wasn't in a match, but things between him and Jordan are getting heated. Seth accidentally hit his partner in a heated exchange and there is more tension in their future.

20. The Undertaker

All signs point to Undertaker's return meaning he will feud with John Cena for a WrestleMania 34 match. It is still unsure if Taker will stay in retirement or not.

19. Bray Wyatt

There was no build to his latest match with Hardy and it was a disappointed one. WWE has dropped the ball with a promising feud.

18. Becky Lynch

In an after-match brawl, Lynch was one of the few women left standing, giving her momentum in the Rumble. However, Charlotte seems to have made everyone her enemy for the Rumble, even her BFF Lynch.

17. Kevin Owens

He and Zayn were given separate chances to take down AJ Styles. Owens failed and ended up being injured in the process.

16. Sasha Banks

Banks made Fox tap out and won her team the match, but her ally Asuka betrayed everyone and solidified her status as top dog on Raw.

15. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura was starting to took powerful behind a decent push lately. With Baron Corbin reeling in their match, he went in for the win but a RKO from nowhere by Randy Orton killed the match and Nakamura's momentum.

14. Naomi

Naomi pinned a member of the Riott Squad after multiple distractions from the women of SmackDown. After helping Lynch clear the ring of opponents, she watches Charlotte cut her ties with her friends ahead of the Rumble, making Naomi one of her enemies.

13. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin

Gable has evolved nicely as a competitor and is even better than Jason Jordan at this point. He will be the focal point in his upcoming title match and should be the highlight and the one who wins the titles for his team.

12. Roman Reigns

Reigns dropped the IC to Miz, but did not suffer a setback from the loss. He was strong in the showing and will now be back in the main event picture with Lesnar ahead of WM.

11. Randy Orton

The Viper seemed lost in the mix after his feud with Zayn and Owens. That was until he ambushed Nakamura and Corbin the middle of their match, taking them both out and making him a legitimate threat ahead of the Royal Rumble.

10. AJ Styles

After weeks of talking himself up, AJ Styles finally bit off more than he could chew. He was able to injure Owens and take him out. However, battling two heavy-hitters back to back was too much even for the Phenomenal One. Zayn scored the upset victory.

9. Asuka

She might have been a team player in her tag match, but Asuka took out all legitimate threats ahead of Sunday, even her own allies.

8. Bobby Roode

The US Champion scored the win for his team over the heels, but has been a below average champion thus far.

7. Charlotte

After all of the other women erupted in a brawl, Charlotte strolled out and declared war on every single woman when it comes to the Rumble, including alliances and friends such as Lynch and Naomi.

6. The Balor Club

The Balor Club reigned supreme over The Revival and racked up another win for the newly reformed alliance.

5. Elias

The Drifter has been drifting through WWE for weeks now and his small push seemed so long ago. That was until he gave a great promo with one of the best, Chris Jericho, and came face-to-face with John Cena. He entered a feud with the future Hall of Famer after he crushed him with his guitar. Elias is worth the spotlight.

4. Brock Lesnar

The Beast Incarnated battled his Rumble opponents once more, but was again thwarted by Braun Strowman and slammed through a table.

3. The Miz

As promised, The Miz upset The Big Dog to reclaim his title and become an 8-time Intercontinental Champion. He is just within reach of holding the title a record-breaking number of times.

2. Braun Strowman

Strowman was allowed one more chance to get his hands on Lesnar before the title match. He did not take it for granted, slamming the champion through a table and being a huge threat to the belt.

1. Sami Zayn

Heading into the Royal Rumble, Zayn now has a victory over the WWE Champion. However, his partner in crime seems injured and won't be a big help in the title match. However, Zayn seems like a lock to beat Styles for the belt.
