Time for the pre-show, which mostly consists of promos and stuff, as always. Nothing to report so far, other than a match finally being announced for the kickoff. The New Day talk about how they're going to win the tag titles and give Charly Caruso a pancake for the road and such.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Tye Dillinger and Breezango vs. Mojo Rawley, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin

RESULTS: Dillinger pins Rawley for the win.
THOUGHTS: If you missed it, you missed nothing. Good to see these guys get on the card, though.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev

RESULT: Shinsuke Nakamura by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Rusev put up a better fight than I thought they'd let him do. I still don't see much of a point to all this, though.

United States Championship Match: Bobby Roode (c) vs. Randy Orton

RESULT: Randy Orton takes the title by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Wow, I didn't think the title change would happen here. Decent match, too.

Backstage, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn talk to each other. Owens is mad at Zayn for what happened in the Fatal 5-Way, but Zayn says he's his guardian angel and he's still good for the Six-Pack Challenge.

Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. Carmella and Natalya

RESULT: Carmella and Natalya by pinfall (Carmella pins Becky Lynch)
THOUGHTS: Sloppy and pointless.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) vs. The New Day

RESULT: No-contest when The Bludgeon Brothers attack both teams.
THOUGHTS: Did I not say that this was something that I could see coming?

It takes a while for the trainers and medical personnel to take The New Day and The Usos to the back, so AJ Styles is interviewed in the meantime about his upcoming title defense.

SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ruby Riott

RESULT: Charlotte Flair retains by submission.
THOUGHTS: Not bad. Not great.

Asuka comes out to say that she's going to challenge Charlotte at WrestleMania, as expected.

WWE Championship Six-Pack Challenge Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. John Cena

RESULT: AJ Styles retains by pinning Kevin Owens.
THOUGHTS: Fun match from start to finish.
