WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week #176

Posted by Wes Keefer Saturday, December 30, 2017
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. Hideo Itami

The so-called savior for the 205 division has fallen flat on his face. He got booed at his first 205 event and his first singles match resulted in an ugly botch that may ban his finisher move.

24. Elias

Not all is lost for The Drifter. He got selected to welcome Cena back to Raw and put forth a long-lasting match. He isn't on the same level as Cena yet though.

23. Kane

After just being named a contender to Lesnar's title, Kane was thrown into a squash match against Rhyno and Slater in a meaningless segment.

22. Alexa Bliss

If Absolution stalking her wasn't bad enough, Asuka has seemingly set her sights on Alexa Bliss's title.

21. Cedric Alexander

Alexander won two tag matches this week ahead of his title match against Enzo Amore.

20. Street Profits

After possibly their last squash match. the Street Profits called out most of the top tier teams in NXT. They could be on to better things in 2018.

19. Finn Balor

Balor picked up a simple win in a simple segment with Curtis Hawkins. It is even more of a blow that Balor was leaped by Jordan for a big push aside Rollins.

18. Shayna Baszler

Baszler took NXT by storm when she attacked Kairi Sane, making her a threat to all women in NXT.

17. Asuka

Alexa Bliss seems to have a new and dangerous contender in Asuka, who left her lying flat after an altercation.

16. Rusev and English

Rusev is on the verge on being pushed heavily and WWE saved him heat by avoiding getting pinned in the contender match.

15. Matt Hardy

Hardy has proven that he too can play mind games and even got the better of Wyatt.

14. Jinder Mahal

His main event push has expired, but Mahal is still relevant. He won a match to proceed further into the United States Championship tournament.

13. John Cena

Cena graced his presence on Raw on Christmas Day no less. He worked a great match with Elias to start the show.

12. Riott Squad

The Riott Squad is still causing havoc on SmackDown, but they are getting more counter attacks from the rest of the roster.

11. Samoa Joe

Joe went toe-to-toe with Reigns for the Intercontinental Championship. He did win via disqualification and put up quite the fight against The Big Dog.

10. Ember Moon

Moon won a brawl with Sonya Deville, but now Shayna Baszler is loose on the scene.

9. Boby Roode

Roode gets another shot at redemption when he defeated Baron Corbin to continue in the US Title tournament.

8. Absolution

Mandy Rose is becoming quite the diamond in the rough and is proving that she belongs on the same side as the likes of Paige.

7. Johnny Gargano

The NXT crowd erupted when Gargano got the better of Aleister Black out of nowhere for the win.

6. Gable and Benjamin

The inevitable happened as the duo won once again and was finally rewarded their much-deserved title shot.

5. Jason Jordan

Jason Jordan took over as Rollins's partner with Ambrose on the shelf. Surprisingly, it led to The Bar losing their belts to the newly formed duo.

4. Braun Strowman

Braun was also placed in a squash match, but at least his prey put up more up a fight.

3. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

Owens and Zayn continues to make a mockery of the rest of SmackDown Live. Owens upset the WWE Champion AJ Styles and rubbed it in the face of Shane McMahon.

2. Seth Rollins

All seemed lost for Rollins when Ambrose went down, but Jason Jordan came to the rescue and helped defeat their rivals ad capture the titles.

1. Roman Reigns

The Shield is in shambles, but at least they are still dominant even though they're a man short. Reigns defeated Samoa Joe in a hard-fought contest.
