WWE recently reunited popular stable The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) and they're set to main event TLC card against The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman and Kane in a 5-on-3 handicap match. This promises to be an exciting match and hopefully it will extend the feud to Survivor Series.
Also on the card, Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss will defend her title against Mickie James. Bliss and James can put on a decent match and their promos during their feud have been very entertaining. Make sure to check BetOnline when wagering on this event. Here are my predictions for WWE TLC.
The Shield vs. The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman & Kane - 5-on-3 Handicap TLC Match
Getting The Miz involved in this feud was a smart decision because he's among the best talkers in the company and he's been able to sell this match better than anyone could. Making him team up with former Raw Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus and not his "Miztourage" was also a great call but adding the Monster Among Men Braun Strowman and the Big Red Machine Kane gives the reunited Shield a difficult challenge.
This will be a good match, even when it seems predictable. The Shield will have a hard time but doesn't make sense to give them a loss in their return. Losing could set up a bigger Survivor Series match and they won't look weak since it's a 5-on-3 handicap match but the safe bet here is to take The Shield.
Pick to win: The Shield
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Mickie James - Raw Women's Championship
Asuka's main roster debut will overshadow this championship match, but it will still be entertaining. The outcome can be predictable as well, so it helps us if we want to bet on it. I think that Alexa Bliss will lose the title soon but not to Mickie James.
As much as she deserves the spotlight, giving James the title now doesn't make sense. Asuka will likely feud with Alexa Bliss very soon, which will be intriguing. However, they need to fight for the Raw Women's Championship, which is why I don't see Bliss losing it here.
Pick to win: Alexa Bliss
Asuka vs. Emma
Emma had to go through Bayley, Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match in order to get the opportunity to face Asuka in her main roster debut at TLC.
Asuka is a huge name in the WWE because of her unbeaten run in NXT and that impressive streak will continue on RAW, so Emma, who Asuka already beat in NXT, has no chance here. Asuka will be booked as an unbeatable superstar, just like she was in NXT, making this the safest bet on this event.
Pick to win: Asuka
Kalisto (c) vs. Enzo Amore - Cruiserweight Championship
Knowing WWE, I wouldn't be surprised if they let Enzo Amore cheat to win back the title, just to build heat and create controversy but I like Kalisto's chances. I'm not betting this match but Kalisto should retain.
Pick to win: Kalisto
Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt
This match will actually be The Demon vs. Sister Abigail and I'm not looking forward to it. Balor and Wyatt have fought each other three times already and this feud has been extremely boring. Having Wyatt appear as Sister Abigail instead of giving the character to a female superstar makes it even worse. Balor is said to be Brock Lesnar's next challenger so I don't expect him to lose what should be the end of this poor feud.
Pick to win: Finn Balor
Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann vs. Jack Gallagher & Brian Kendrick
The other 205 Live match of the event features Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann going up against Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick. There's so much talent on the Raw roster that is hard to understand why this match will take a spot. I would have preferred to have Matt Hardy, Jason Jordan, Gallows and Anderson, Elias in action but 205 Live does need the exposure and these two tag teams can put on a show if given enough time. Look for Alexander and Swann to pull off the win here.
Pick to win: Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann
Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox
Alicia Fox and Sasha Banks clashed on last Monday's Raw and Banks won but Fox snapped and attacked Banks backstage after their match and now their heated rivalry will continue. These superstars will take their aggression out on each other during the TLC Kickoff show, which starts one hour before the main card. It seems Banks is buried or in the dog house because she's too talented to not be facing Asuka or Alexa Bliss on Sunday and I don't see how giving Fox a win makes any sense. There's no way Sasha Banks loses this one.
Pick to win: Sasha Banks
