Due to the viral meningitis outbreak going on right now, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt have both been removed from the card, meaning the reunion with The Shield—the main selling point of this entire weak card—has been put on the shelf.
It makes no sense at all, but replacing Reigns is KURT ANGLE of all people.
Replacing Bray Wyatt and now scheduled to face Finn Balor is actually AJ Styles. Again, that makes no sense, but WWE is clearly in panic mode...as they should be.
This is exactly why you can't build cards based on just one or two things being the entirety of the reason to watch, and what's a shame about this is that it kind of wastes Angle's in-ring return with zero build in a match that makes no sense and is going to be particularly taxing on the body.
How is WWE going to bounce back from this? Are we really going to have Sister Abigail vs. The Demon drag out even more and wait until Survivor Series? How is this going to mess with the Survivor Series card? What's going on with Kane and Reigns if there's no way to have those two interact here?
