BACKSTAGE: Akira Tozawa is taping up his wrists when Titus O'Neil comes up to him. He says he pulled some strings and got Tozawa in the main event tonight against TJP. The Titus Brand can look out for Tozawa's best interest. Once he signs on the dotted line, it will be "raining yen"

PROMO: Austin Aries heads to the ring where he'll clarify what he meant by his tweet, which said "And with that, it might be time for some serious life reflection and career reevaluation." He explains that he isn't cleared to compete as he's dealing with some leg and neck injuries and waiting on test results. Tony Nese comes out to interrupt and to say he is the future and Aries should "quietly fade into the past." Gentleman Jack Gallagher then interrupts, saying Nese is no Austin Aries. Gallagher beats Nese down with his umbrella (which breaks in the process).
BACKSTAGE: Rich Swann tells TJP that last week, the WWE Universe started believing in him (TJP) again and he did, too. "TJ Perkins" would go out there to the ring and take care of business the right way.
VIDEO PACKAGE: Mustafa Ali is....never mind, Drew Gulak interrupts the highlight promo to replace it with one about himself standing for a better 205 Live. Gulak and Ali will face off next week, as will Jack Gallagher and Tony Nese.

BACKSTAGE: Titus O'Neil is celebrating Tozawa's win. Neville comes over to him to say all he's doing is setting Tozawa up for pain and misery because he isn't on the Neville level. Titus says Tozawa is the future of 205 Live and Neville gets mad at that idea.
