WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week: 4/22/2017

Posted by Ben Guest Saturday, April 22, 2017
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. Jack Gallagher

Jack Gallagher lost against TJ Perkins on Raw.

24. Enzo and Cass

Enzo and Cass lost against Anderson and Gallows on Raw.

23. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt cut his usual promo on Raw.

22. Mickie James

Mickie James lost against Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks on Raw.

21. Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose appeared on MizTV on Raw. Are his promo's getting worse?

20. Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks lost against Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss and Mickie James on Raw. I really expected Sasha to win this match.

19. Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho lost against Samoa Joe on Raw. His run is starting to slow down a bit now, but it will always be one of, if not his best run with the company.

18. American Alpha

American Alpha lost against The Colons on SmackDown. Erm... more on this later.

17. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin lost against AJ Styles on SmackDown. I know why he lost, but I hope Baron holds the US title by the end of the year.

16. Naomi

Naomi lost against Charlotte on SmackDown.

15. Cesaro and Sheamus

Cesaro lost against Jeff Hardy on Raw.

14. TJ Perkins

TJ Perkins beat Jack Gallagher on Raw. Erm... cool?

13. Anderson and Gallows

Anderson and Gallows beat Enzo and Cass on Raw. Keep them strong I guess.

12. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens won a squash match on SmackDown. Squash matches are for new guys like Strowman or Nia, not Kevin Owens.

11. Nia Jax

Nia Jax lost against Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and Mickie James on Raw. She looked strong in the process, that's all that really matters for now.

10. Finn Balor

Finn Balor beat Curt Hawkins in a quick squash match on Raw. I left the room because it was a Curt Hawkins segment and came back to Balor celebrating, very quick.

9. The Hardy Boyz

Jeff Hardy beat Cesaro on Raw. I like Jeff and Cesaro so I enjoyed this match a lot.

8. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe beat Chris Jericho on Raw. Even though Joe's booking isn't what I would usually like, it seems to be working. He's still a threat on a roster with a lot of big names.

7. The Colons

Okay... when did they decide it wasn't The Shining Stars anymore? And more importantly, when did they decide The Colons were getting a push. I said in a recent Triple Threat that the shakeup might work out best for these guys, but I was hoping I was wrong.

6. AJ Styles

AJ Styles beat Baron Corbin via countout. Both guys still looked good, it built to the feud and Styles is great. No complaints.

5. The Miz

The Miz hosted MizTV where he was once again brilliant and showed why he is one of the best promos in the company.

4. Charlotte

Charlotte beat Naomi to become number one contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship. She's winning it isn't she... of course.

3. Braun Strowman

What a run Strowman is on right now. I really want to see Strowman vs Brock Lesnar.

2. Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is number one contender for Raw's Women's Championship. Did not see this coming, but I'm so happy it did. She almost certainly won't win the title, but it would be great if she did.

1. Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal is the number one contender for the WWE Championship. I have no words. On a serious note, assuming Jinder is complying with the wellness policy and is all legit. He has got himself in great shape and deserves a lot of credit, I look forward to seeing what he can do.

Do you think anyone should be listed differently?
