The latest round of tapings for WWE NXT were done on April 19, 2017 at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers for the results of what transpired during the show, broken down in what will likely appear per episode (although WWE may edit it in a different way):

  • Killian Dain defeated Eric Young
  • Heavy Machinery defeated two jobbers
  • Daria Berenato (now going by the name Sonya Deville) defeated Macey Estrella (now going by the name Lacey Evans)
  • Aleister Black defeated Cezar Bononi
  • Hideo Itami defeated Roderick Strong to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Championship
  • Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford defeated Dylan Miley and HoHo Lun. After the match, Miley destroys Lun, as he did with his previous partner.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Sean Maluta.
  • Kassius Ohno defeated Andrade "Cien" Almas. Thea Trinidad was ringside.
  • #DIY cut a promo about wanting a title shot against The Authors of Pain. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss interrupt. #DIY defeat them in a match that follows. Afterward, William Regal announces #DIY vs. Authors of Pain at TakeOver: Chicago in a ladder match.
  • Bobby Roode cuts a promo about Hideo Itami, who comes out, but is stopped by security. Itami takes out the security guards and eventually, Roode.
  • A battle royal to determine the No. 1 contender for Asuka's NXT Women's Championship ends in a no contest as Asuka interferes in the end, prompting William Regal to announce a Fatal 4-Way between Asuka, Ember Moon, Nikki Cross and Ruby Riot for TakeOver. Moon perhaps is injured in the process.
