Future Endeavors: Tajiri No Longer With WWE

Posted by Anthony Mango Sunday, April 23, 2017
In a recent interview, Tajiri clarified his status with World Wrestling Entertainment after an extended absence by stating he's no longer with the company. No formal release was announced or anything of that sort.

My reaction: Well that's certainly disappointing, but not very surprising. After his injury, WWE went hardcore into replacing him in the feud with Brian Kendrick by having Akira Tozawa take his place. That's been a fun feud, but I was hoping Tajiri would come back at the end of it as someone Tozawa actually did want as a teacher. Oh well. Tajiri had some fun. Maybe he'll be back again. If not, or at least in the meantime, I'm not really going to miss him.
