Smark Out Moment

The WWE SmackDown Women's Championship has changed hands on the February 21, 2017 edition of SmackDown as Naomi was forced to relinquish the title due to injury. A match for the vacated championship took place between Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch with Alexa Bliss coming out on top to become the new champion.

My immediate reaction: Obviously, when WWE booked Naomi to defeat Alexa Bliss to win the championship, they didn't have it in mind to have her relinquish it a few weeks later with an injury. I'm disappointed to see that Naomi wasn't able to get an actual run with the belt as she deserved it, but I'm a bigger fan of Alexa Bliss, so I'm more than okay with our new champion. Bliss is bae. For the most part, I like all of the women on SmackDown, so this could have gone a number of ways and I would have been fine with it.
