WWE Title Change: Tyler Bate Wins United Kingdom Championship

Posted by Anthony Mango Sunday, January 15, 2017
The WWE United Kingdom Championship has been granted to Tyler Bate who was victorious in the finals of the United Kingdom Championship Tournament against Pete Dunne on January 15, 2017.

My immediate reaction: I would have gone with Mark Andrews myself, but Tyler Bate quickly proved himself a capable babyface to take the reigns instead and I'm totally cool with this. Pete Dunne as champion would have been a bit of a downer to end things on, although it's clear they value him quite a lot and he'll be champion somewhere down the line. Now the question is what they'll do with this championship going forward.
