WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Results

It's time for the pre-show, which consists of a panel of Renee Young, David Otunga, Peter Rosenberg and Jerry Lawler (who Dace pointed out isn't wearing a normal shirt and that's suspicious because he might have a singlet on underneath it. If he pops up in the Royal Rumble, Dace called it)

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan talk in the locker room, when they're approached by Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. They address the whole American Alpha thing, with Gable calling out how Jordan's singles career isn't working out so well, but Jordan calls out how he at least has a belt.

[Pre-Show Kickoff] Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik vs. Drew Gulak, TJP and Gentleman Jack Gallagher

RESULT: Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik by pinfall (Kalisto pins TJP)
THOUGHTS: Barely paid attention to it cause it doesn't matter, but it was just okay for filler.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are hilarious answering tweet questions, not letting Peter Rosenberg ask a question and just being such douchebags. SO GOOD.

[Pre-Show Kickoff] The Revival vs. The Balor Club

RESULT: The Revival by pinfall
THOUGHTS: Filler.

Alundra Blayze and JBL are on the pre-show panel. Nothing too important being said.

[Pre-Show Kickoff[ United States Championship Open Challenge Match: Bobby Roode (c) vs. Mojo Rawley

RESULT: Bobby Roode retains by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: This left so much to the imagination and since nobody interesting came out, it's a shame that this was a wasted opportunity.

I love this crowd! They're doing countdowns and making the buzzer noise for every minute.

WWE Championship Handicap Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

RESULT: AJ Styles retains by pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Meh. Nothing special. Glad styles retained, but disappointed nothing more interesting happened.

Backstage, Owens and Zayn complain to Shane McMahon.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: The Usos (c) vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin

- The first fall goes to The Usos after superkicks.
- The second fall goes to The Usos with a roll-up, so they just flat out win.

RESULT: The Usos by pinfall with a 2-0 score.
THOUGHTS: Glad The Usos retained. The match, meh, not bad.
