WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III 2017 Results

Our pre-show panel consists of Charly Caruso, Sam Roberts, Corey Graves and Lita. There isn't much to report on. Kurt Angle mispronounces Asuka's name. Bayley says she's still doing rehab on her shoulder injury. Neville still has problems with Corey Graves. Lita and Carmella and Sasha Banks talk about women's wrestling and the Mae Young Classic. Big E is Big E (best part of the pre-show).

Now we have some kind of musical performance going on to start the show. Uh....okay. Five minutes wasted.

Johnny Gargano vs. Andrade "Cien" Almas

RESULT: Andrade Almas via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Very solid opening match that had the crowd on their feet. We're off to a great start!

Corey Graves comes out as a special guest commentator to join our normal crew of Mauro Ranallo, Percy Watson and Nigel McGuinness.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Authors of Pain (c) vs. SAnitY

The two teams attack each other before the match starts, and soon after it does, Eric Young replaces Killian Dain, who was never tagged in at that point, so they say that's legal, so it's Wolfe and Young representing SAnitY.

RESULT: SAnitY win the titles via pinfall!
THOUGHTS: Another very good match with a pretty decent finish

During the celebration, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish attack SAnitY AND The Authors of Pain making the crowd go nuts.

Jim Ross comes out as the next special guest commentator!

Aleister Black vs. Hideo Itami

RESULT: Aleister Black via pinfall
THOUGHTS: Not as good as the previous two matches, but nothing to complain about by any means.

NXT Women's Championship Match: Asuka (c) vs. Ember Moon

RESULT: Asuka retains via submission
THOUGHTS: Very, very shocked that Asuka retained. Awesome match. I hope this is the right outcome. I'm skeptical, but interested to see where they go from here.

After the match, the crowd gives Ember Moon a round of applause.

NXT Championship Match: Bobby Roode (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

RESULT: Drew McIntyre takes the belt via pinfall!
THOUGHTS: The worst match of the night, but still a pretty decent one. I'm actually a little shocked we have a new champion.

After the match, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish come out and are joined by Adam Cole! All three men beat down Drew McIntyre!
