Smark Out Moment

This week's episode of WWE NXT was taped on January 5, 2017 at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers for the results of what transpired during the show based on the original tapings. There is a chance WWE will edit things differently.

• Billie Kay and Peyton Royce defeated Sarah Bridges and Macey Evans. After the match, they called out Asuka, who ran out and was beaten down. Nikki Cross came out for the save, but attacked Asuka as well. Asuka flipped out afterward.
• Elias Samson defeated Jonathan Cruz
• Andrade "Cien" Almas defeated Oney Lorcan
• #DIY retained the NXT Tag Team Championship over The Revival. The Authors of Pain attacked Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa after the match.
