Smark Out Moment

The latest round of tapings for WWE NXT were done on January 5, 2017 at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers for the results of what transpired during the show, broken down in what will likely appear per episode (although WWE may edit it in a different way):

• Billie Kay and Peyton Royce defeated Sarah Bridges and Macey Estrella. After the match, they called out Asuka, who ran out and was beaten down. Nikki Cross came out for the save, but attacked Asuka as well. Asuka flipped out afterward.
• Elias Samson defeated Jonathan Cruz
• Andrade "Cien" Almas defeated Oney Lorcan
• #DIY retained the NXT Tag Team Championship over The Revival. The Authors of Pain attacked Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa after the match.
• Nikki Cross defeated Kennadi Brink
• Roderick Strong defeated Steve Cutler
• Tye Dillinger's promo was interrupted by SAnitY, who offered him a spot in the group. Big Damo lays out Dillinger and officially joins the group.
• Ember Moon defeated Liv Morgan
• A contract signing for Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura's title match takes place.
• Aliyah defeated Mandy Rose
• No Way Jose defeated Kona Reeves. Elias Samson gets involved with Jose after the match.
• Eric Young defeated Chris Atkins
• TM-61 defeated The Revival in a quick match. Afterward, The Revival injure Shane Thorne.
• William Regal invites Asuka, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay and Nikki Cross to the ring. All hell breaks loose.
• Shinsuke Nakamura and Tajiri defeated Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe. Kassius Ohno makes his return after the match to indicate he's coming for the NXT Championship.
