Tonight James Ellsworth will try to take down "the champ that runs the camp" as he gets his title shot against WWE Champion AJ Styles.
PROMO (Backstage): Shane, Daniel Bryan, and James Ellsworth are backstage looking at what he did last week asking why he interfered in the IC Title match. Ellsworth is sick, and can't stop sneezing. Eventually, they send him home saying there will be no title match as he is not fit to compete, and that they will focus on finding a new number one contender to AJ's title.
MIZ TV: They quickly cut to Miz and Maryse in the ring, all set up for Miz TV and they remind us this is day 28 of The Miz Intercontinental Championship reunion tour. He now announces his guest, AJ Styles. AJ is no longer wearing the boot, and The Miz brings up the fact that James won't be able to wrestle tonight. He says sooner or later he is going to destroy James Ellsworth in the middle of the ring, and he laughs about the fact that he still has a championship match to begin with. Then they move on to whats next for AJ Styles, and AJ says he has no idea. He has already beat Cena, he has already beat Ambrose, and will soon destroy Ellsworth and keeps asking who else is on his level. Miz says, yes, you have been great. But he has taken the Intercontinental Championship and made it legendary. AJ said no one is on his level, and Miz says that he is right. But he is above it. Now its time that The Miz makes the WWE Championship legendary. The two prep for a fight, but out comes Dean Ambrose. Both champs quickly leave the ring, and then Dolph Ziggler joins Ambrose in the ring. Ziggler says that those two talk a lot of game for two guys who can't win without cheating. Miz attacks Ziggler, Dean takes out Miz, and Styles slowly walks around the ring keeping a close eye on Ambrose. Ambrose then hits a Dirty Deed on Dolph Ziggler. Suddenly, Luke Harper shows up and levels Ambrose. Harper stares down Styles as he leaves.
BREAKING NEWS: There will be a tag team #1 contenders battle royal tonight featuring every tag team on SmackDown Live.

MATCH: Natalya vs. Carmella
Nikki is on commentary. Before the match Natalya tries to say something to Nikki on the mic before Carmella comes out, but Carmella comes out to interrupt anyway.
During the match, Natalya and Nikki have a stare down. Then she saves Nikki from an attacking Carmella and keeps saying "I didn't do it." while she was in the ring. Taht gives Carmella a distraction for a roll up pin win.
RESULTS: Carmella wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: I knew they would need to have a two women's feuds on SmackDown, and I really like this one. It should end with a pretty good match between Nikki and Natty setting up for what I imagine will be Nikki getting another title run.

PROMO (Backstage): Gabriel Iglesias, better known as Fluffy, the comedian is backstage talking to Apollo Crews. Then Maryse comes in asking for quiet on the set and that her husband needs to prepare for his match. They make fun of each others clothing, and then Miz says he has championship business to attend to.

TAG TEAM BATTLE ROYAL: All SmackDown Live Tag Teams
The winner will become the new number one contender for The Wyatts Tag Team Championships.
During the match, Heath Slater accidentally eliminated his own partner Rhyno.
RESULTS: The Hype Bros win.
THOUGHTS: Once both Slater & Rhyno, and American Alpha were eliminated I really didn't care. No one else is a believable threat to The Wyatts.
BREAKING NEWS: There will be a fatal four way elimination match between Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, and The Miz to determine who is the new number one contender for the WWE Championship.

MATCH: Alexa Bliss vs. Diana Perazo (Spelling?)
Before the match, Alexa grabs the mic and says she doesn't do charity cases. Talking about the lady she was supposed to face. Calling her Jane Ellsworth. She then attacks her.
That brings out Becky Lynch, saying that Alexa is in her ring gear as is she. Alexa is looking for some real competition so why don't they have their rematch right now? Alexa says that she has her match, but just not tonight. It will happen on her terms. As she is leaving the ring, out comes Commissioner Shane McMahon. He says that match is happening right now!
RESULTS: No match for the local talent.
THOUGHTS: "Hey come to SmackDown, stand in the ring, get insulted, and then get beat up and forgotten about!" But, hey who wouldn't want to get beat up by Alexa Bliss?!

SMACKDOWN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch
During the match, Alexa Bliss seems to get injured and can't get back in losing by count out thus keeping the belt.
RESULTS: Becky Lynch wins by count out.
THOUGHTS: I swear, if Alexa loses the belt soon I won't be happy. I would love to see her as champ at least until WrestleMania.
After the match, Becky attacks her. As she is leaving, Alexa forgets to act injured and then starts limping again. Proving she was faking the injury, and I'm assuming that will set up for a rematch.

BREAKING NEWS: John Cena returns to SmackDown Live in two weeks.
FATAL FOUR WAY ELIMINATION MATCH: Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz (w Maryse) vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper
- Dean Ambrose eliminates The Miz via pinfall.
- Dean Ambrose eliminates Luke Harper via pinfall.
- Dolph Ziggler eliminated Dean Ambrose via pinfall.
RESULTS: Dolph Ziggler is the new number one contender for the WWE Championship.
THOUGHTS: Win or loss, I'm so glad Harper is in this. I would've really loved to see The Miz get a shot with AJ as I think that match would be 5 stars, but I think Dolph vs. AJ could be even better. Dolph won't win, but it should be a hell of a match.
