WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week: 12/31/2016

Posted by Ben Guest Saturday, December 31, 2016
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. T J Perkins

T J Perkins lost against Neville on Raw. I don't mind Perkins, but I'm happy with him putting Neville over.

24. Rich Swann

Rich Swann beat Ariya Daivari on Raw. I hope he drops the belt soon.

23. Heath Slater and Rhyno

Heath Slater and Rhyno lost The Wyatt Family, The Usos and American Alpha on SmackDown.

22. The New Day

The New Day lost against Cesaro and Sheamus on Raw. Where do they go next?

21. Nia Jax

Nia Jax won a squash match on Raw. It keeps her busy I guess.

20. Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler lost against AJ Styles and Baron Corbin on SmackDown. He lost an Intercontinental Championship feud, he shouldn't be fighting for the WWE Championship.

19. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch lost against Alexa Bliss on SmackDown.

18. The Usos

The Usos lost the four corners elimination match on SmackDown.

17. Cesaro and Sheamus

Cesaro and Sheamus beat The New Day on Raw. They need a name.

16. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns cut a promo before beating Kevin Owens on Raw. At least he defended his title right?

15. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins cut a promo before losing against Braun Strowman via DQ on Raw.

14. The Wyatt Family

The Wyatt Family lost their tag team championships on SmackDown. That was a short reign, don't have Randy Orton leave them now, it was going so well.

13. Bayley

Bayley cut a promo before losing against Charlotte on Raw. This feud is really growing on me.

12. Anderson and Gallows

Anderson and Gallows beat Golden Truth on Raw. Have to start rebuilding them somehow.

11. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin lost against Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles on SmackDown. I can believe him as a main event guy. If Ambrose wins the Intercontinental Championship I would like to see him go for the belt.

10. Charlotte

Charlotte cut a promo before beating Bayley on Raw. As much as I would have liked Sasha Banks as champion, you can't deny that Charlotte is a great heel.

9. JeriKO

Chris Jericho attacked Seth Rollins before Kevin Owens lost against Roman Reigns on Raw.

8. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman attacked Darren Young, Bo Dallas and The Shining Stars before beating Seth Rollins via DQ. I love how much they're protecting him, but are they saying he lost against Sami Zayn at Roadblock or what? Either way, just give him the US title.

7. Neville

Neville beat T J Perkins on Raw. Just give him the belt and have him hold it until you thrown all your money at Kota Ibushi.

6. AJ Styles

AJ Styles beat Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler on SmackDown. I'm intrigued to see how his match with John Cena goes.

5. John Cena

John Cena returned on SmackDown to cut a promo stating that he would face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble. There has been a leaked poster for Elimination Chamber stating a match between Cena and Styles for the title at that pay-per-view as well, with it reportedly saying Styles will be defending the belt. Whatever happens, either of these guys against The Undertaker at WrestleMania would be amazing.

4. Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss beat Becky Lynch on SmackDown. Let her feud with Naomi for a little bit.

3. American Alpha

American Alpha became new SmackDown Tag Team Champions! This was out of the blue wasn't it. They haven't quite lived up to expectations so far, but hopefully this is the catalyst for them to have a great 2017.

1. Jack Gallagher and Enzo and Cass

It's the end of the year and I couldn't decide who should go in second so we have a tie for first place. Enzo and Cass have been the most over guys at every show this year and although they haven't had a ground breaking feud, they deserve some recognition for what they have done and therefore they were going to get top spot here, however...

Jack Gallagher slapped Ariya Daivari with a leather glove and challenged him a duel. Gallagher is quickly becoming one of my favourite characters of all time!

Do you think anyone should be listed differently?
