UFC 207 will take place on December 30, 2016 at the T-Mobile in Paradise, Nevada. Follow here for predictions and information on the event's card, lineup of matches and news regarding the pay-per-view. Here are my predictions for UFC 207.

predictions for UFC 207 pay-per-view Nunes vs Rousey

MAIN CARD

BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Amanda Nunes (c) vs Ronda Rousey (#1)

The long awaited return of the queen of MMA. I really don't know who I want to win this fight or who I think will win this fight. Their stats are very interesting and kind of balance each other out. But if Rousey had beaten Holm and we got this fight, I would probably have very little doubt and I have to assume she is fully recovered and in good shape. But she's only once gone into the 3rd round and that was for less than a minute, so you have to wonder how she'll do if Nunes can take her that far. I'm really torn on this, especially with rumors that Rousey may not have many fights left.

PREDICTION: Amanda Nunes, decision. I really don't know.

BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Dominick Cruz (c) vs Cody Garbrandt (#5)

Is this too early for Garbrandt? Yes. Should this be an easy win for Cruz? Yes. Do I still really want to see Garbrandt dominate? Yes. A Garbrandt win would really shake up the division and he is still undefeated, but surely Dominick Cruz will pick up a win here.

PREDICTION: Dominick Cruz, I'll say decision, hopefully Garbrandt will increase his stock despite the loss.

BANTAMWEIGHT: TJ Dillashaw (#1) vs John Lineker (#2)

Lineker is yet to fight Dominick Cruz and Dillashaw's fight with Cruz was close. Neither of them have fought Cody Garbrandt either so regardless of either result on this card, the next title fight should be interesting. As for this fight, I would love to see Lineker get a title fight, but I just this Dillashaw is a better fighter.

PREDICTION: TJ Dillashaw, decision.

WELTERWEIGHT: Dong Hyun Kim (#9) vs Tarec Saffiedine (#12)

Kim has a great record and could be two or three wins away from a title shot. I don't see Saffiedine getting into the title picture without some strong improvement.

PREDICTION: Dong Hyun Kim, 1st round KO.

FLYWEIGHT: Louis Smolka (#12) vs Ray Borg (#13)

These guys have identical records except Smolka has two extra fight, both of which are wins. It's also not quite as simple as a classic stand up vs ground game match up but in a fight this close, I will always back the guy who's better on his feet.

PREDICTION: Louis Smolka, 2nd round KO.

PRELIMINARY CARD

WELTERWEIGHT: Johny Hendricks (#6) vs Neil Magny (#8)

Why does a record of 17-5 look so much better than a record of 18-6? I want to back Hendricks, but something tells me Magny has this. Call it gut instinct or whatever you want, I'm backing Magny.

PREDICTION: Neil Magny, decision.

WELTERWEIGHT: Antonio Carlos Junior vs Marvin Vettori

Now this is a fight that could really elevate the winner. Both guys only have 2 losses, but I always back a guy with a strong stand up game.

PREDICTION: Marvin Vettori, 2nd round KO.

MIDDLEWEIGHT: Mike Pyle vs Alex Garcia

Garcia has a good record but not ground breaking, whereas Pyle has a lot of fights, and a lot of wins, under his belt. Could be interesting

PREDICTION: Alex Garcia, 3rd round KO, I really have no clue though.

WELTERWEIGHT: Brandon Thatch vs Niko Price

It's rare that I don't back an undefeated fighter, but Thatch could cause some problems here.

PREDICTION: Niko Price, decision.

EARLY PRELIMINARY CARD

WELTERWEIGHT: Alex Oliveira vs Tim Means

This should be an interesting fight for the early prelims, I think Means' aggression will see him pick up the win. Method of victory is the hardest choice here.

PREDICTION: Tim Means, 2nd round KO? Sure why not?

Are you excited for UFC 207, who do you think will win each bout and who will walk out with the Men's and Women's Bantamweight Championships? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
