UFC 206 took place on December 10, 2016 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada. This is a full review of what happened and the results of the bouts that took place at the pay-per-view. Here are the results of UFC 206.

Review of UFC 206 pay-per-view Holloway vs Pettis

MAIN CARD

CATCHWEIGHT (148 Ibs): Max Holloway (#2) vs Anthony Pettis (#5)

The Featherweight division is just a joke now. Because Pettis failed to make weight, only Holloway could win the interim championship. Holloway vs Jose Aldo should be a good fight, but Conor McGregor has rendered the featherweight division void.

RESULT: Max Holloway, 3rd round TKO.

WELTERWEIGHT: Donald Cerrone (#5) vs Matt Brown (#14)

Strong win for Cerrone. I've never really liked him or thought he was that great, and it's easy to say that Brown was b=never going to challenge him, but he deserves a title fight next year.

RESULT: Donald Cerrone, 3rd round KO.

FEATHERWEIGHT: Cub Swanson (#4) vs Dooho Choi (#11)

Cub Swanson won this fairly convincingly. He could put up a good fight for the championship.

RESULT: Cub Swanson, unanimous decision.

MIDDLEWEIGHT: Tim Kennedy (#10) vs Kelvin Gastelum (#11)

A very good fight! Gastelum got a string finish in the third round but at times it could have gone either way.

RESULT: Kelvin Gastelum, 3rd round TKO.

WELTERWEIGHT: Jordan Mein vs Emil Meek

This was fairly simple to call and wasn't the most enjoyable fight, maybe that's just me having high expectations going in though.

RESULT: Emil Meek, unanimous decision.

PRELIMINARY CARD

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Nikita Krylov (#8) vs Misha Cirkunov (#13)

I didn't expect this fight to be over so quickly, I want to see more of Cirkunov going forward.

RESULT: Misha Cirkunov, 1st round submission.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs Drew Dober

I wasn't really into this fight, impressive win for Aubin-Mercier but I won't care if I never see either guy fight again though.

RESULT: Olivier Aubin-Mercier, 2nd round submission

CATCHWEIGHT (117.5 Ibs): Valerie Letourneau (#9) vs Viviane Pereira

A 12 fight win streak kind of speaks for itself. Pereira vs Joanna Jedrzejczyk could be interesting.

RESULT: Viviane Pereira, split decision.

BANTAMWEIGHT: Mitch Gagnon vs Matthew Lopez

I didn't expect this result, a lot of credit to Lopez for winning this!

RESULT: Matthew Lopez, unanimous decision

EARLY PRELIMINARY CARD

LIGHTWEIGHT: John Makdessi vs Lando Vannata

Okay, I didn't expect a spinning wheel kick finish. A shame for Makdessi, but what a kick!

RESULT: Lando Vannata, 1st round KO

CATCHWEIGHT (158 Ibs): Jason Saggo vs Rustam Khabilov

Khabilov won fairly easily, I want to see him climb the rankings and go for Conor McGregor's belt.

RESULT: Rustam Khabilov, unanimous decision.

FLYWEIGHT: Zach Makovsky (#8) vs Dustin Ortiz (#11)

A very close fight, Ortiz deserved the win, but Makovsky deserves a lot of credit for this fight.

RESULT: Dustin Ortiz, split decision.
