WWE Power Rankings Top 25 Superstars This Week: 10/15/2016

Posted by Ben Guest Saturday, October 15, 2016
Welcome to another edition of Power Rankings from Smark Out Moment! Each week, we will break down the current roster and examine who has gone up the WWE hierarchy and who has unfortunately taken a step down the ladder. Factoring in things such as wins and losses, suspensions, injuries, making a name for one's self, being humiliated, and more, who is at the top of the food chain and who needs to make up some ground next week?

Power Ranking WWE wrestlers list roster

25. Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkins cut a promo at No Mercy which was quite good. He said he would have his first match on SmackDown...but wasn't even mentioned on SmackDown.

24. Sami Zayn and Neville

Sami Zayn and Neville beat Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel (The Social Outcasts) on Raw. I think this team could work.

23. Carmella

Carmella lost against Nikki Bella at No Mercy and once more on SmackDown against Naomi.

22. Charlotte

Charlotte cut a promo before losing against Sasha Banks and Roman Reigns on Raw.

21. Cesaro and Sheamus

Cesaro lost against Kofi Kingston on Raw. His teammate Sheamus seemed to be no help whatsoever, which hurts their momentum heading into their tag team title shot at Hell in a Cell.

20. Randy Orton

Randy Orton lost against Bray Wyatt at No Mercy and against The Wyatt Family on SmackDown.

19. Rusev

Rusev cut a promo before losing against Sasha Banks and Roman Reigns on Raw.

18. TJ Perkins

TJ Perkins beat Ariya Daivari on Raw. They are not doing a good job of making the cruiserweight division interesting.

17. The New Day

Kofi Kingston beat Cesaro on Raw.

16. JeriKO

JeriKO cut a promo before Chris Jericho lost against Seth Rollins on Raw.

15. The Usos

The Usos lost against Beauty and the Man Beast at No Mercy before beating American Alpha on SmackDown.

14. American Alpha

American Alpha beat The Ascension and The Vaudevillians at No Mercy before losing against The Usos on SmackDown.

13. Beauty and the Man Beast

Heath Slater and Rhyno beat The Usos at No Mercy. I like this team name, but it's just too long for me to bother writing too many times.

12. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins beat Chris Jericho on Raw.

11. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns cut a promo before beating Rusev and Charlotte on Raw. He can't even get over standing next to Sasha Banks. Poor guy.

10. Naomi

Naomi beat Alexa Bliss at No Mercy and Carmella on SmackDown.

9. Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss lost against Naomi at No Mercy, which is a major step down from her previously planned title match against Becky Lynch, as that was pulled at the last minute due to an injury.

8. Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks cut a promo before beating Charlotte and Rusev.

7. The Wyatt Family

Bray Wyatt beat Randy Orton at No Mercy before teaming up with Luke Harper to beat Kane and Randy Orton on SmackDown. Just keep them together if you're not doing anything else with Harper.

6. John Cena

John Cena lost against AJ Styles at No Mercy, taking the pin. However, Cena and Dean Ambrose made Styles tap out when they both had him in a submission hold at the same time.

5. Dean Ambrose

See above. Ambrose was the special guest referee for the main event on SmackDown.

4. AJ Styles

AJ Styles beat John Cena and Dean Ambrose at No Mercy before losing on SmackDown, which loses him some favor.

3. The Miz

The Miz lost against Dolph Ziggler at No Mercy before cutting a promo on SmackDown.

2. Dolph Ziggler

See above. As much as I wanted The Miz to keep the Intercontinental Championship and didn't care too much if Ziggler was leaving. This was a great match and if Ziggler is going back to putting on these kind of matches every week, I can't wait.

1. James Ellsworth

James Ellsworth beat AJ Styles on SmackDown. I'll repeat that, James Ellsworth beat AJ Styles! He'll be receiving an actual WWE World Championship title shot next week, too. I don't want to live in this world anymore.

Do you think anyone should be listed differently?
