This week's episode of WWE NXT was taped on October 13, 2016 at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. The following are spoilers for the results of what transpired during the show based on the original tapings. There is a chance WWE will edit things differently.

• No Way Jose and Rich Swann defeated Tony Nese and Drew Gulak to advance to the second round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament
• Bobby Roode defeated Sean Maluta
• Billie Kay and Peyton Royce attack Liv Morgan
• Austin Aries and Roderick Strong defeated Heavy Machinery (Tucker Knight and Niko Bogojevic, now going by Otis Dozovic) to advance to the second round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament
• Nikki Cross defeated Danielle Kamella, but the referee reverses the decision after Nikki refuses to stop beating her down
• Shinsuke Nakamura cuts a promo on his match with Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver: Toronto. Patrick Clark interrupts and is taken out by Nakamura. Samoa Joe runs out, but they don't come to blows.
