Tonight, the focus is on one thing. The long awaited return of Goldberg to the WWE. He shows up tonight to respond to what Paul Heyman said about him last week, and respond to Brock Lesnars challenge.
PROMO (In-Ring): WWE Universal Champions, Kevin Owens, and best friend, Chris Jericho, are staring off the show. Jericho is in ring gear, so I'm assuming a match is coming. Owens says that the personal vendetta that Foley has against him has never been more clear. He is forcing him to compete in a hell in a cell match against Rollins and put his career on the line. Y2J says that its true, and he has a vendetta against him as well. He is tired of people saying that a hell in a cell match is a badge of honor, its just a nail in the coffin that nearly ended Foley's career. KO says that Rollins career will be shortened because he is stepping in the cell with Kevin Owens. This will still be the Kevin Owens show. Y2J says that it should be the Chris & Kevin Show because he should be in that match with them. He says the only reason he lost to Seth last week is bad officiating, and then puts him on the list. KO says that he already replaced Seth as the man, and in two weeks he will retire him. That brings out Seth Rollins. Huge pop and chant for Rollins. He calls Jericho "Sparklecrotch" because of his sparkly tights, and then threatens to put Seth on the list. He says that his friendship with KO should be on the list since he watched him get Pedigreed two weeks in a row. KO says that they've talked about what happened, and one person needs to stay strong for the good of the team. Rollins says that KO stays strong, and Y2J stays weak.. Y2J takes offense. Y2J says he could beat Seth anytime, any place, anywhere. Seth says that Denver is as good a place as any so they should fight now, and then asks what KO is going to do. Trying to goad him into sending KO to the back so he can prove that he can beat Seth one on one. The two argue, Jericho wanting to KO to leave, and KO wants to stay. Jericho says he understands what he is doing, and this "staying strong for the team" thing is BS. But they are still best friends, and he is ready to prove he is still the GOAT like his tights say. KO leaves, and its match time.

MATCH: Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho
During the match, Kevin Owens makes a reappearance to distract Seth. It didn't work initially, but as Rollins stared down Owens for a Pedigree Jericho locked in Walls of Jericho. Rollins forced a rope break. Seth ends up hitting the Pedigree for the win.
RESULTS: Seth Rollins wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Another great match with the best storyline in WWE right now.

PROMO (Backstage): Lita is having a sit down interview with Charlotte, and one with Sasha Banks. Her interview with Charlotte is first. She asks how she can prepare for a match like hell in a cell, and she says that she is a bonafide winner and no prep is needed. She is the greatest superstar in WWE today, male or female. And then Lita asks if she feels like she took advantage of The Boss at SummerSlam, and Charlotte obviously says no. She is always 100% when the lights are on. She asks if she is uncomfortable with the WWE Universe being behind Sasha, and their match at Hell in a Cell being in Sasha's hometown of Boston. She says she never needed the WWE Universe, and Sasha will definitely need her hometown crowd. Charlotte has won in 12 straight PPV's, and that won't change at Hell in a Cell. Lita will interview Sasha later in the night.

MATCH: The Golden Truth & Mark Henry vs. The Shining Stars & Titus O'Neil
RESULTS: The Golden Truth & Mark Henry win via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: I didn't really care when it started, and definitely didn't care when it ended. It wasn't horrible, but I'm glad its over.

PROMO (Backstage): Chris Jericho is walking in the back and stops to yell at Kevin Owens for coming down to the ring. He keeps saying he asked him not to, and they continue to argue. KO then says this is what Seth and Foley want, and Y2J nearly calls him a stupid idiot but stops. KO blows up at that, and then Stephanie appears and tells them to stop letting Seth in their head. They have Hell in a Cell in two weeks, and then Survivor Series where they will face SmackDown in three Survivor Series elimination matches. So they need to get it together.
MATCH: Sheamus (w Cesaro) vs. Big E (w Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)
RESULTS: Big wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: I really enjoyed this match. It was super stiff, and these two big dudes went at each other. The interaction between Cesaro and Sheamus is really pretty funny.

MATCH: Bo Dallas (w Curtis Axel) vs. Neville
RESULTS: Bo Dallas wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Bo Dallas is one creepy looking dude.. Poor Neville.
After the match, Bo Dallas attacks Curtis Axel.

MATCH: Bayley vs. Dana Brooke
RESULTS: Dana Brooke wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Dana Brooke is just not fun to watch at all in my opinion. She needs a lot of work before she is entertaining in the ring, and I cannot believe she beat Bayley. I don't think it was supposed to happen based off the reaction of the announcers.
PROMO (Video): Paul Heyman joins the announcing crew through a satellite video, and they ask if he thinks Goldberg will accept the challenge that Brock Lesnar handed out last week. Heyman says the challenge was rhetorical, and of course he is coming to Raw to say yes. He says that Goldberg may wonder why Lesnar didn't challenge him face to face, and its because he doesn't deserve that. He advises Goldberg that he says no, or he may piss of Lesnar. Lesnar is already pissed that he beat him 12 years ago, and he shouldn't make it worse. If he says yes he will be embarrassed, humbled, and humiliated by Brock Lesnar.

MATCH: Braun Strowman vs. The Mile High Trio
Braun versus three dudes from Denver. I'm sure this will go well.
RESULTS: Braun Stroman wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: They are definitely making him look impressive. Even if it was against three no names, it was still impressive the stuff he can do. I can't wait for some real competition for this guy. "Braun Strowman makes The Revenant bear look like Winnie The Pooh." -Corey Graves
PROMO (In-Ring): Strowman says he wants real competition, but is then interrupted by Sami Zayn. Sami and Braun share a stare down before Strowman shoves him out of the ring.
*Commercial Break*
PROMO (Backstage): Charly asks Sami why he picked a fight with Braun Strowman, and he says, "Because nobody else will."
PROMO (In-Ring): Rusev and his wife, Lana, have a message for Roman Reigns. Rusev says that he will crush Roman inside hell in a cell and win his title back. Rusev brings up that Roman talks about family a lot. He pokes fun at the Samoan culture, and then says that his own family is at least civilized. Then, he shows a slideshow of his family. His mother, father, brother, grandma, his dog, and then his cousins. Then out comes Roman. Roman says he does have a big family, but not just bloodline. He is talking about the Roman Empire. He says that he can call his family all he wants. It doesn't matter who, because at Hell in a Cell its just them one on one inside the cell. Lana slaps him and then Rusev hits him with the super kick. Rusev continues the assault using the steel steps.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Karl Anderson (w Luke Gallows) vs. Big Cass (w Enzo Amore)
RESULTS: Big Cass wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Big Cass makes short work of Anderson.
PROMO (Backstage): Gulak, Nese, and Brian Kendrick are backstage talking and they're interrupted by Cruiserweight Champ, TJ Perkins. Kendrick says there are no friends on Raw, only allies. Perkins suspects that Kendrick offered Gulak and Nese a future title shot if he wins at Hell in a Cell. Kendrick says that he is one his last life so that makes him the most dangerous player in the game. Then Cedrick Alexander and Rich Swann jump in at the defense of Perkins, and they're all in a six man tag later tonight.
*Commercial Break*
PROMO (Interview): Lita sits down with The Boss, Sasha Banks. She asks Sasha if she's ready to make history. She says she is ready, and no matter how she feels about Charlotte; they've done all of this together. Lita says that Charlotte thinks it'll be her night at Hell in a Cell, but Sasha disagrees with it being in her hometown of Boston. Sasha is still trying to get a grip on the fact that she is part of history. They then move on to SummerSlam and Sasha's back issues. Sasha says she has proven she's 100% by winning the belt back. Lita asks if any part of her is scared or afraid of what she will be getting into with the hell in a cell match, and Sasha says she can't say that its fear. She says that fear isn't an option at this point, and she's ready to make history.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Drew Gulak, Tony Nese & Brian Kendrick vs. Cedrick Alexander, Rich Swann & TJ Perkins
RESULTS: Drew Gulak, Tony Nese & Brian Kendrick win via submission.
THOUGHTS: I liked this match, and I'm still really digging the Cruiserweight Division. I would love to see Brain Kendrick as the champ!
PROMO (Backstage): Mick and Stephanie are backstage, and he is a little upset that Stephane accepted Shane's challenge for Survivor Series with three elimination tag matches. Stephanie apologizes, and says she wants to take credit for Hell in a Cell but that was all him and she wants to know how is he going to make Raw great next week. And he announces that the main event of Raw will be Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho.
*Commercial Break*
PROMO (In-Ring): Its time for Goldberg! Goldberg thanks the crowd for the humble return, and says that for the first time ever his wife and son are able to be there to watch him live. He says he missed kicking ass, but what he missed most was being a superhero to kids all around the world. WWE 2K17 gave him a chance to feel that again, and it gave him the fire he needed to step into the ring again. He says that he keeps thinking that its better left alone, and he should keep it to the video game. But then Brock Lesnar challenged him to a fight without the balls to do it himself. That made him think that just maybe he has one more ass kicking left, one more badass spear left, and one last devastating jack hammer left in him. Brock Lesnar is next, but more importantly.. Brock Lesnar.. You're last! Next week, Brock Lesnar will be on Raw in Minneapolis to respond to Goldberg. Man, thats a historic sight to see Goldberg standing tall on a WWE stage again.
