predictions for UFC 204 pay-per-view Bisping vs Henderson 2

MAIN CARD

MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: Michael Bisping (c) vs. Dan Henderson (#13)

Henderson does a good job of looking taller than he is and Bisping does the opposite. The First round was very close until the last minute where Henderson almost finished the fight, he rushed the chance though and Bisping was able to escape. Bisping controlled the second round until Henderson caught him with another right hand towards the end. Bisping controlled the entire third round, he's got his rhythm, but he'll want to finish it in the championship rounds. Henderson had a break in the fourth round because he got hit in a sensitive area... yeah, that one and really pissed off the crowd. He was smart and took his time though. Bisping controlled the round before the break and it was fairly even after it. Henderson probably won the fifth round, down to the judges...

RESULT: Michael Bisping, unanimous decision.

MIDDLEWEIGHT: Vitor Belfort (#5) vs. Gegard Mousasi (#9)

Mousasi won the first round, Belfort gave Mousasi the centre but wasn't completely dominated. Belfort did well to last as long as he did in the second round.

RESULT: Gegard Mousasi, 2nd round TKO.

LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT: Ovince Saint Preux (#5) vs. Jimi Manuwa (#8)

OSP won the first round, but Manuwa looked good enough that he could still come back and win. Wow, Manuwa just dominated him in the second round.

RESULT: Jimi Manuwa, 2nd round KO

HEAVYWEIGHT: Daniel Omielanczuk (#14) vs. Stefan Struve (#12)

Stefan Struve is HUGE, 84.5" reach is insane! Struve won the first round easily, great ground game. He finished the job early in the second round.

RESULT: Stefan Struve, 2nd round submission

FEATHERWEIGHT: Mirsad Bektic (#15) vs. Russell Doanne

Bektic controlled the fight with ease, was only ever one result.

RESULT: Mirsad Bektic, 1st round submission.

PRELIMINARY CARD

BANTAMWEIGHT: Luri Alcantara vs. Brad Pickett

Alcantara looked great, very strong fight from him.

RESULT: Luri Alcantara, 1st round submission.

BANTAMWEIGHT: Damian Stasiak vs. Davey Grant

Stasiak looked in control for the first round, not much offence from Grant. Grant dominated the second round, some good ground work from Stasiak towards the end though. Stasiak looked better in the third round. Grant did a great job of trying to get out of the armbar.

RESULT: Damian Stasiak, 3rd round submission.

WELTERWEIGHT: Leon Edwards vs. Albert Tumenov (#14)

Edwards dominated the first round, kept Tumenov on the ground for most of the time. Tumenov looked much better in the second round, all comes down to the third. Tumenov looked to be winning the third round, but Edwards got it to the floor.

RESULT: Leon Edwards, 3rd round submission.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Lukasz Sajewski vs. Marc Diakiese

Sajewski definitely won the first round, most of it was spent on the ground. Sajewski looked tired in the second round. I can't wait to see more of Marc Diakiese, very fast and explosive.

RESULT: Marc Diakiese, 2nd round TKO.

EARLY PRELIMINARY CARD

WELTERWEIGHT: Danny Roberts vs. Mike Perry

Both guys really went for it in the first round. Perry got Roberts to the ground and then nearly got the KO at the end of the round. Very close second round, probably went to Roberts but Perry had another strong finish. The third round looked to be going to Roberts but was close once again. Very good fight!

RESULT: Mike Perry, 3rd round KO.

LIGHTWEIGHT: Leonardo Santos vs. Adriano Martins

The first round was tight but Santos looked slightly better, despite a flurry right at the end from Martins. Santos was dominant in the second round despite some fight back from Martins. Martins took the third round easily. good fight to start the night.

RESULT: Leonardo Santos, split decision.
