Our last Monday Night Raw before the first Raw exclusive PPV in Clash of Champions in Indianapolis. Theres some great matches on this card, but Raw has to do a lot in order to live up to SmackDowns first exclusive in Backlash. There will be some final build ups for all of our matches, and especially the big title matches. Feuds like Charlotte and Sasha, Rusev and Roman(even though it hasn't been announced as of yet), and of course Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins will get a ton of face time. I also expect Bayley and Dana Brooke to have a match announcement, and possibly Titus and Darren will continue to drag forward. I failed to mention that we will see the debut of the Cruiserweight division on Raw tonight! Our Cruiserweight Champion, TJ Perkins, was crowned last Wednesday in the final of the Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network. He along with five others will hold down the cruiserweight division that starts tonight on Raw!

PROMO (In-Ring): Roman Reigns is the first to join us tonight. He is met with his usual chorus of boos, and I'm sure this is to talk about Rusev interfering in his main event last week. As soon as Roman starts speaking he is again interrupted but this time by Stephanie McMahon. She understands his frustrations, but as she gets ready to announce how they are fixing this she is interrupted by the GM, Mick Foley. Mick makes a beeline for the ring alongside our commissioner, and he says they do have a solution. Tonight Seth Rollins and Rusev will go one on one as their punishment for interference. Roman says thats great, but that does nothing for him. Rusev got in the way, but Mick says at Clash of Champions he will face off with Rusev for the United States Championship. Stephanie says that she guarantees that match will happen, and it is met with a sarcastic thank you from Roman. Mick says he can trust her, and that even though she has been up front with her dislike for him but they are all part of the Raw family. If Raw falls to SmackDown, Stephanie keeps her job. Not Mick. He is here to make Raw great again, and he is here to make things right. Tonight he gets his rematch with Kevin Owens. That then brings out our Universal Champion, Kevin Owens. Wearing his suit and shaking his head, he asks if this whole thing is a joke. It makes no sense to him as he beat Roman twice last week, and he needs to prepare for Seth this Sunday. He then looks to Stephanie, and she says whatever the GM says goes. He will fight Roman, but it will be a non-title match. Mick agrees, but it will be inside a steel cage.

PROMO (Backstage): Mick and Stephanie are talking about the GM's decision to put their champion in a steel cage match just six days before the first Raw exclusive PPV. They don't get to chat long as Rusev comes in screaming at the GM. He can't believe that Foley would give Reigns another chance at his title, and then gave a cheap plug for Lana's movie with Edge that comes out tomorrow. He says he has figured out the GM, and he is out to get him because he is jealous of him and his family. Mick says he can say whatever he wants, but that doesn't change the fact that he has a match against Reigns on Sunday and the fact that he has a match against Rollins right now. Rusev leaves, and Mick answers his phone. The segment ends with, "Ah Chris Jericho, to what do I owe this pleasure?"

MATCH: Seth Rollins vs. Rusev

RESULTS: Double count out.
THOUGHTS: I like the double count out here. It's rarely used and its good that neither of these guys technically have to take a loss before the PPV. Good stuff.

PROMO (Backstage): Dana, Charlotte, and Mick are backstage. They are talking about the triple threat match last week where it was actually a double pin between Sasha and Bayley. This concludes with Mick making the Raw Women's Championship match at Clash of Champions a triple threat match. Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks.

VIDEO PACKAGE: They play a video package of Cedric Alexander and Brian Kendrick who will debut as cruiserweights tonight on Raw.

PROMO (Backstage): The best friends, Y2J and KO, are backstage talking about how Foley is out to get KO ever since he became champion. Jericho says that he is going to write down a list of everything Foley has done wrong as GM and he is going to show it to him...

MATCH: Braun Stroman vs. Sin Cara

RESULTS: Braun Stroman wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: The scrub matches continue for Braun. I'm excited to see who he faces in his first big match.

PROMO (Backstage): Bayley and Sasha are talking about their upcoming match. Bayley says that she is excited for them to be back in the ring just like old times, and Sasha says it isn't like old times. Bayley says that the good news is that one of them will become the new champ on Sunday, but they show everyone what they can do together tonight.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte & Dana Brooke

RESULTS: Charlotte & Dana Brooke win via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Good match! I think this solidifies that either Bayley or Sasha leave Clash of Champions with the belt. I'm thinking Sasha.

PROMO (Backstage): Seth Rollins is outside Stephanie's office door. He reaches for the handle, but stops himself. He ponders something for a minute, and then opens the door and walks in.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO (Backstage): Seth is in Stephs office, and he asks why they threw everything away for Kevin Owens. She insists that she has nothing to do with what HHH did. He disagrees and says that she knows something, but she says she cannot explain anything she doesn't know anything about. She says maybe Kevin was right. He is the reason that the WWE Championship is on SmackDown, and he did lose to Finn. Maybe HHH is tired of him ruining his reputation. He says they'll regret that when KO is laying flat on his back and he is the new champ, and he will be a champion that cannot be manipulated. She tells him to stop threatening her. She thinks that Kevin was the right choice, and that he has replaced Seth Rollins. Seth says she used to be respectable, but that changed when Shane showed up.

MATCH: Bo Dallas vs. Gary Graham

Bo recites another ridiculous poem that says only he can believe in himself.

RESULTS: Bo Dallas wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Update, I still hate Bo Dallas. Not in the "Oh he's a heel I hate him." sort of hate, I just genuinely do not like or care about Bo Dallas.

*Commercial Break*

VIDEO PACKAGE: They play a video package of TJ Perkins, our new Cruiserweight Champion, who makes his Raw debut tonight.

MATCH: Sheamus vs. Cesaro

Sheamus is up 3-2 in the best of 7 series.

RESULTS: Cesaro wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Woah! What?! Who didn't see this coming? I do expect them to have a killer match on Sunday though.

PROMO (Backstage): Foley is on the phone and says match 7 should be at Clash of Champions between Cesaro and Sheamus. Then he is joined by Jericho. Jericho has a list he deemed "The List of Jericho". Jericho writes down that Foley demeans superstars, steals catchphrases, and has a horrible sense of style. Foley laughs and says that would mean more if it wasn't coming from a grown man wearing a scarf.

*Commercial Break*

PROMO (In-Ring): Jericho is in the ring, ready to read off The List of Jericho. He says that Foley has been doing horrible job as GM, and has been repeatedly screwing over himself and KO. He reads off some reasons. He is trying to drive a wedge between he and Kevin Owens, his horrible fashion sense, and the love he has for Sami Zayn. He is then interrupted by Enzo & Cass. Enzo says he has an issue, and it is the fact that he says he is best friends with KO. Friends would never let another friend go out in public with that vest and that scarf. They are then interrupted by The Shining Stars. They say that everyone should relax in Puerto Rico. I hate these guys the same way I hate Bo Dallas. Then The New Day come in! Where is this segment going? They say that they will need those timeshares in Puerto Rico when they celebrate retaining their belts against The Club. The out comes The Club. Gallows says it is stuff like this that makes them want to take those titles back so badly. Anderson reminds them that they beat them in the ring last week, but instead they are out here talking about their gaming channels and their stupid cereals. Jericho says he has started a new list of stupid idiots, and everyone is on it. Then out comes Sami Zayn who attacks Y2J. They roll into the ring and all hell breaks loose.

*Commercial Break*

MATCH: Sami Zayn, The New Day, & Enzo and Cass vs. Chris Jericho, The Club, & The Shining Stars

RESULTS: Sami, The New Day, & Enzo and Cass win via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Not really a fan of the big tag matches like this unless its an elimination style like Survivor Series. So this was "meh" for me.

VIDEO PACKAGE: They play a video highlighting Rich Swann and Gran Matalik who will debut as part of the cruiserweight division.. NEXT!

*Commercial Break*

PROMO (In-Ring): It's time for the cruiserweight division and our new Cruiserweight Champion, TJ Perkins, to make their Raw debut! Mick is in the ring, stumbling through some quotes, and then getting to the CWC. A ten week tournament, culminating in an incredible match that crowned TJ Perkins our new champion. The cruiserweight's are exclusive to Monday Night Raw. There are four of the new guys here tonight for the inaugural match tonight. Rich Swann, Gran Metalik, Cedric Alexander, and Brian Kendrick! Mick then announces that the winner of this fatal four way will take on TJ Perkins for the Cruiserweight Championship at Clash of Champions.

 *Commercial Break*

MATCH: Gran Metalik vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Rich Swann vs. Cedric Alexander

The winner of this fatal four way will take on TJ Perkins for the Cruiserweight Championship at Clash of Champions.

RESULTS: Brian Kendrick wins via submission.
THOUGHTS: I am extremely nervous the fans may ruin this division.. All four guys came out to crickets, and they won't get the same reaction like they did at Full Sail.. These guys are the best workers in the world, so we know they can go and they can get over. Hopefully the fans just accept them. As far as Kendrick winning, I love it. It's a smart move to put a guy who has already been in WWE in this spot so some fans may recognize him, and he absolutely deserves it. TJ Perkins will retain, but it'll be one great match.

BREAKING NEWS: On the Clash of Champions kickoff show, Nia Jax will go up against Alicia Fox.

*Commercial Break*

STEEL CAGE MATCH: Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens

After the match, Roman is attacked Rusev who is helped by KO. They lock Roman in the cage and beat him senseless, but then help is on the way in the form of Seth Rollins. Seth climbs the cage and jumps and lands on both Rusev and KO.

RESULTS: Roman Reigns wins via escaping the cage(climbing out).
THOUGHTS: I think time constraints hurt this match, but it was perfect to make KO look like a cowardly heel and Reigns the big tough baby face. I'm pumped for Clash of Champions! What about you guys?
