WWE Monday Night Raw

Charlotte & Dana Brooke vs. Bayley & Sasha Banks

After Mick Foley officially made Charlotte's match against Sasha Banks at Clash of Champions a Triple Threat by adding Bayley to the mix after Dana Brooke pointed out the double-pin from last week, a very annoyed Charlotte teamed up with Brooke to take on her two challengers for Sunday.

The babyfaces controlled the action early on, but a sneaky double-team by Charlotte and Brooke allowed Brooke to gain the upper hand on Bayley. Banks tagged into the match, but the heel team targeted her injured back. Bayley tagged in hot and looked to be on her way to a victory, but a distraction by Brooke allowed Charlotte to pin Bayley for the victory.

The match was well-paced and Brooke definitely performed in one her cleanest matches on the main roster to date. Charlotte's targeting of Banks' back was heel excellence personified, and Banks sold like a champ, no pun intended. The pops the women all received were telling of the impact they have had since debuting.

The most interesting part of this storyline is the increasing tension building between Sasha Banks and Bayley. While Charlotte is their focus right now, a heel turn by Banks on Bayley seems inevitable. Having Bayley take the pin was a smart move: it built momentum for Charlotte while not taking away credibility from Bayley. And the look Banks shot Bayley's way?

Chills.

Winners: Charlotte and Dana Brooke
Rating: 3/5

WWE SmackDown

Contract Signing: Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss

Lynch and Bliss proved their worth as expert talkers in SmackDown's opening segment, delivering an intense promo and making their feud, in two words, straight fire.

Bliss has been dynamite on the mic since her NXT heel turn, and was able to truly showcase her personality to the casual audience in this segment. She never faltered and looked icily confident throughout. Lynch looked like a star as well. Her impassioned promo was babyface gold, oozing sincerity.

Their feud is growing into something special, and Bliss is shaping up to be the perfect first challenger for Lynch's title.

Nikki Bella & Naomi vs. Carmella &Natalya

It's a shame that these four talented women were thrust into a segment as ridiculous as this. Carmella laid out Nikki while Naomi planted Natalya.

That's it.

Winners: No contest
Rating: 0.0000001/5

TNA Impact Wrestling

Maria...Works Out

After an entire night of verbally abusing Allie, Maria easily laid out the woman Allie brought in for her first "public workout." After that easy victory, Maria demanded another opponent. Allie meekly admitted she hadn't booked any more talent because Maria had wanted an easy victory, and Maria berated her once more.

Soon enough, a hooded woman dressed in all black came out: Gail Kim. Surprise, Maria! Kim laid out Sienna as Maria retreated.

Maria and Allie's dynamic is building to something major. When Allie breaks away from her tormentor, the pop will be insane. Gail Kim's fire has not diminished in the slightest, and her journey back to the Knockouts Title makes it feel very important. Her veteran presence is exactly what the storyline needed.

Winner: Maria...sort of.
Rating: 2.5/5

WWE NXT

Billie Kay vs. Aliyah

Both Superstars had something to prove in this short but well-executed match. Kay controlled most of the match, with Aliyah powering into a babyface comeback near the middle before falling to a powerful boot from Kay.

Rumors flew around Twitter of fans chanting, "THIS IS FILLER!" during this match. If these rumors were true, shame on them. While Aliyah and Kay have not yet been given enough character for us to invest in them yet, they obviously have talent and built a fun match.

Kay's work in the ring is so crisp. She moves with strength and grace and carries herself with the swagger of a champion. Whenever she finds the one ingredient missing from her character, she will be on the fast track to title contention. Aliyah also shows hints of superstardom in her easy-going charisma. Having tracked her progress since Breaking Ground, it's unbelievable how far she has come.

Winner: Billie Kay
Rating: 2.75/5
