After a Battleground that totally delivered and then some, its time for our first Monday Night Raw post draft with the new revamped rosters and under the control of GM Mick Foley and Commissioner Stephanie McMahon. Which means the first of many Raw appearances for Finn Balor! Sasha Banks revealed her surprise partner to be Bayley! The way the commentators spoke, this was a one night thing for Bayley and she will return to NXT but we will find out! Sasha and Bayley, the Boss and Hug Connection, won their match against Women's Champion, Charlotte, and her protégé Dana Brooke. The main event held huge implications as it determined where the WWE Championship would be headed. Dean Ambrose defeated his former Shield brothers to retain his gold cementing the fact that WWE Championship will stay on SmackDown. Does that mean we see a new belt reveal tonight, and maybe crown a Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam? Only time will tell as we inch closer to the biggest party if the summer!
They open with a new song, the announce tables up by the ramp like they used to be instead of ringside, a new stage, and a new commentator in Corey Graves replacing JBL.
PROMO: Mick and Stephanie are in the ring. Mick says that tonight starts a new era in Monday Night Raw, and then the entire Raw roster comes out to the stage. Mick says that as GM, he will work hand in hand with those superstars to bring the best show every Monday. Stephanie gives him full authority to do so, and then moves on to the biggest problem. The WWE Championship is on SmackDown with Dean Ambrose. Stephanie blames Roman, who was pinned last night. This is the first time in a long time that Raw hasn't had a champ. So the GM and Commissioner decided that this Raw will feature two fatal four way matches, the winners of those will face off in the main event, and the winner of that will face Rollins at SummerSlam for the brand new championship. The WWE Universal Championship(no belt is shown), named after the WWE Universe. The competitors in the fatal four ways are: Sami Zayn, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, Cesaro, Roman Reigns, Rusev, Kevin Owens, and Finn Balor. Stephanie then asks Charlotte to step forward, and they remind her that she did indeed lose in her tag match tapping out to Sasha. She will defend that title tonight against Sasha Banks. The first fatal four way.. Starts now!

MATCH: Cesaro vs. Rusev vs. Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor
Remember, the winner of this match advances to the main event of Raw tonight. The winner of the main event will go on to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam to determine the WWE Universal Champion.
Finn pins Rusev for the win and moves on to the main event.
RESULT: Finn Balor wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Finn!! Please give us Finn vs. Seth at SummerSlam. Holy crap.

Brit Baker(spelling?) must be a local talent ready to get demolished.
RESULT: Nia Jax wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Yeah this lasted like 3 minutes. Surprise surprise.
PROMO: The Golden Truth are playing Pokémon GO! and get in the way of Sasha's stretches. Then Tom comes in and asks if Sasha is feeling the pressure. She says sh thrives under pressure, and the New Era is about to have its first new champion. The Boss.

MATCH: Sheamus vs. Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho vs. Roman Reigns
The winner of this match will go on to the main event and face Finn Balor to see who will face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship.
Roman Reigns hits Y2J with a spear for the win.
RESULT: Roman Reigns wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I figured as much. Finn vs Roman could be very interesting. Pulling for Finn.

NEW DAY CELEBRATION: The New Day are record breaking tag team champs, so they are having a well deserved celebration! They come out carrying balloons that spell out "337" which is their consecutive days as champs. Woods says that their match last night didn't go as planned, and he is glad Wyatt is now on SmackDown. But they are still champs for 337 days, Booty-O's was only a dream that is now a reality. They then throw up a video package of their amazing run as champs. They decide in honor of their momentous occasion they will choose a member from the crowd to be an honorary member of New Day. Big E calls him Sonny Boy, and asks him what his name is. The man insists his name is really Sonny Boy. His first order of business is to celebrate with New Day, but before the celebration can go too far they are interrupted by Gallows & Anderson who wreck The New Day. Looks like we have new competition for New Day. They then turn their attention to poor Sonny Boy who is back in the front row. Sonny Boy boos them and they throw the t-shirts that they ripped off New Day at him and stand with the too sweet pose.

PROMO: Curtis Axel is in the ring and is Monday Night Raws "Mr. Irrelevant", a term used in the NFL for the very last pick in the draft, which means he was the last pick for Raw in the draft. He says he may have been the last pick, but he is far from irrelevant. They merely saved the best for last.
MATCH: Neville vs. Curtis Axel
RESULT: Neville wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Welcome back, Neville. He looked good, and his ankle seems fully healed. A welcome addition back to the roster!

PROMO: Darren Young is talking to his coach Bob Backlund, and he is disappointed how he almost had the title won last night. Bob says its a chance to learn and they are interrupted by The Golden Truth playing Pokémon GO! again. Bob loses it and freaks out on the team.
PROMO: Charlotte and Dana are stopped by Tom, and he asks them about what Sasha said earlier. Charlotte says last night was a fluke because Sasha had a partner. Sasha doesn't know pressure because she hasn't had to defend the title night after night and singlehandedly change the womens division. Tonight The Boss bows to The Queen. Dana looked like a bobble head the entire time.
WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Charlotte(c)(w Dana Brooke) vs. Sasha Banks
After interfering twice, Dana is booted from ringside. The second "interference" Sasha Banks acted like she got hit by the Womens Championship belt that Dana happened to be holding. The ref then thought Dana hit Sasha with the belt while he wasn't looking, thus sending Dana away. Taking a page from Eddie Guerrero's mastery.
Sasha Banks wins with the Bank Statement!
RESULT: Sasha Banks wins via submission. New WWE Women's Champion!
THOUGHTS: Goosebumps. 5 stars. Could have main evented any PPV much less a Raw. Just plain unreal.
PROMO: Byron Saxton is in the ring after the match asking her how she feels. She is emotional, and takes a step back to listen to the "You deserve it!" chants. She says this was her dream since being a 10 year old little girl, and she has finally proved she is the best. This is the era of The Boss, of change, and most importantly its the era of women's wrestling.

MATCH: Braun Strowman vs. Shane Elsworth
Mr. Elsworth(spelling?) is as big as one of Brauns legs. Braun has a new look, and new song. Good look.
RESULT: Braun Strowman decimates and then eats this guy.
THOUGHTS: FINALLY! A singles match for the biggest guy in the business. He has huge potential.

MATCH: Enzo & Cass vs. The Shining Stars
The Golden Truth walk right through the ring during the match playing Pokémon GO!
RESULT: Enzo & Cass win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Good. I hate The Shining Stars. Bring back Carlito and I might start liking them. I can't remember a team that was ever more over with the crowd than Enzo & Cass though.
MATCH: Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns
The winner of this match goes on to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the new WWE Universal Championship.
RESULT: Finn Balor wins via pin fall and will face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the WWE Universal Championship.
THOUGHTS: YES YES YES!! Balor vs. Rollins is in every way a dream match. I thought he stood no chance, bt thank God he did it. Amazing stuff. The bar has been set very high for SmackDown.
