This episode of Monday Night Raw comes to us from Omaha, Nebraska as WWE builds up to Extreme Rules. Will we start seeing any sort of decay in the relationship between Stephanie and her brother Shane after what was an awkwardly nice week last week? Expect Roman Reigns and AJ Styles to get a majority of the show alongside family (The Usos) and friends (Gallows & Anderson) as they are set to main event at Extreme Rules which is just a few weeks away!
HIGHLIGHT REEL WITH CHRIS JERICHO: Heel Jericho is here to bless us with his presence. Dean was supposed to be his guest this week, but that's not happening because of the beating he took from Jericho. Jericho says that Dean may not be back for awhile all because of him. He then shows off the remains of Mitch, the potted plant from Ambrose Asylum, and compares the broken pot and dying plant to Ambrose himself. He then says that Mitch is better than Ambrose will ever be in classic heel Jericho style. He says he can't relate to a slob like Ambrose because he is a legend. Which is true. Tonight he blesses us with the gift of Jericho. But as he is blessing us out comes Big Cass! Big Cass isn't too impressed with the gift of Jericho and he wants the receipt. Cass thinks Jericho doesn't understand what the new era is all about, its not a cry for attention but its a warning. He warns Jericho to get out of his way or he will run through him. Jericho tells him to run to his buddy "Enzo Annoying", but Cass says he doesn't run he fights. Jericho acts as if he is ready to fight and smirks as he walks away. Cass spells out SAWFT to describe Jericho and he turns around to attack but eats a big boot from Cass and retreats!

PROMO: Stephanie is confronted by Chris who is complaining about Cass and the new era. He says Shane is part of the problem and he is power hungry and the two of them together could stop him. She agrees 100% that Shane is behind this, but he agrees with what he's doing. So, to get back at Chris for trying to wedge her from her brother, Jericho will go one on one against Big Cass in the main event! Big Cass in the main event of Monday Night Raw!
MATCH: Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin
RESULT: Baron Corbin wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I really hope this is the last time we see these two go at it for awhile. It was a good match, but I'd love to see Corbin go up against some others on the roster.

PROMO: Shane is in his office and visited by Charlotte and Ric. Ric congratulates Shane on his WrestleMania moment and him running Raw. Charlotte brings up the fact that Steph banned Ric from ringside at Extreme Rules, and wants it to be reversed. Shane says that stands for Extreme Rules, and also banned from ringside tonight.
PROMO: Jojo is joined by The Club. Gallows, Anderson, and Styles. She brings up the match they have tonight against Roman and The Usos in an elimination tag match, but AJ wants to talk about last week. He had the chance to use a chair to Romans head, but chose not to. Instead he got put through a table by Roman so he won't be making that mistake again. As for tonight, The Club is back together again.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Fandango (w Goldust) vs. R-Truth (w Tyler Breeze)
RESULT: R-Truth wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I could not give less shits about anything less than I do about this match or this story.
PROMO: Steph and Shane are in their office with Miz, KO, and Cesaro arguing with who should be the number one contender for the IC Title. Steph says that it will be a triple threat match, but then Sami comes in and says he needs to be in the match. Shane says he needs to earn his spot, so tonight Sami will take on The Miz and if he wins it will become a fatal four way for the Intercontinental Championship.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Charlotte vs. Paige
Natty is on the commentary team, and Ric is banned from ringside.
Charlotte tries to use her feet on the ropes for a pin, but Natty gets up to stop it. That brings out Ric, who is banned, to argue with Natty. Then Shane comes out with refs to escort Nature Boy to the back and Paige gets a roll up pin for the win.
RESULTS: Paige wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Man, I missed Paige. I'm glad she's back and this match accomplished a bunch in terms of a good match and good story telling.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Sami Zayn vs. The Miz
Remember, if Sami wins then it becomes a fatal four way for the Intercontinental Title in two weeks at Extreme Rules.
RESULT: Sami Zayn wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I was expecting this, but it was a great match nonetheless. That fatal four way has a possibility to be match of the night, and I'm pumped to see it.
PROMO: Renee Young is joined by Becky Lynch and she asks about facing Emma last week where she was beaten by getting hit in her injured eye. Becky doesn't believe that Emma hit her eye on accident, and then Emma comes in saying Becky is irrelevant. Then Dana Brooke shows up and they both attack Becky.
*Commercial Break*
PROMO: Ryder and Shane are in Shane's office, and Ryder says that his moment at Mania was the best of his career. Then KO comes in and is upset about Sami getting a shot at the IC Title. Shane then sets up a match, if Zack beats KO tonight then he gets KO's spot in the fatal four way.
PROMO: Roman and The Usos are joined by Tom Phillips and he asks about the elimination match tonight. Roman says its about getting a big win, but also about representing the bloodline. Roman says the elimination stipulation means nothing to him, and they will walk away with the win.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Sin Cara (w Kalisto) vs. Rusev (w Lana)
Lana tries to get involved and distracts Rusev, this give Kalisto a chance to land a surprise kick and Sin Cara gets a roll up win.
RESULT: Sin Cara wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: Wow. Wasn't expecting Sin Cara to win at all here. Not a bad surprise.
*Commercial Break*
ELIMINATION TAG TEAM MATCH: The Usos & Roman Reigns vs. The Club
- Jey Uso eliminated
- Karl Anderson eliminated
- Jimmy Uso eliminated
- Luke Gallows eliminated
Gallows and Anderson come back and hit Roman with a chair for a DQ, and The Usos come back for a brawl.
RESULTS: Technically, The Usos & Roman Reigns win via DQ.
THOUGHTS: I had a feeling this wouldn't end in a clean finish, but the match was really pretty good and entertaining.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Kevin Owens vs. Zack Ryder
If Zack walks away with a win here he will take KO's place in the Intercontinental Championship fatal four way at Extreme Rules.
RESULT: Kevin Owens wins via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I expected nothing else here. I love KO. He and Jericho are the best heels in the business until Orton and Rollins return. Even then, Owens will still be up there.
PROMO: Renee Young is with Big Cass. She asks him what its like to be taking on Jericho. Cass says he is honoring Enzo tonight with his match and it is easily the biggest match of his career.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz
After a distraction from The Vaudevillians, D-Von gets a roll up pin for a win.
RESULT: The Dudley Boyz win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: I got my weekly New Day fix, so that was good. I love these guys. I like The Vaudevillians, but you have to think Enzo & Cass would've won that tournament. Enzo & Cass vs. The New Day is much more appealing.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho
During Jericho's entrance someone attacks him and takes his jacket. That someone is Dean Ambrose. Dean then rips the (super expensive) jacket apart, and Jericho comes down to save it and the brawl begins.
Then Cass steps in and stops him before he leaves. Jericho slaps him, and Cass snaps he grabs him by the throat and tosses him back to Ambrose for the Dirty Deeds.
RESULT: No contest??
THOUGHTS: This kind of sucks. I'm glad Dean came back and all but seeing Cass in the main event would've been really cool. I hate myself for thinking that would've actually happened, but it still would've been cool.
