Future Endeavors: Brooklyn Brawler (Steve Lombardi) Released from WWE

Posted by Anthony Mango Tuesday, May 10, 2016
As of 5/10/2016, Brooklyn Brawler (real name Steve Lombardi) has been released from World Wrestling Entertainment. Obviously, Lombardi had been working as a backstage producer and not as an active roster member over the past number of years.

My reaction: Curious as to why this happened. He always seemed loved and it's weird when someone who isn't wrestling is released, as it kind of means either they ran into trouble, decided to retire, didn't justify their paycheck or wanted to move on to something else. For the most part, I kind of can't have an opinion about this, as I don't know what he was responsible for doing and how the product will change. Seems like a cool guy though, so hopefully this is for the best for everyone involved.
