SmackDown WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2016 Results

We've got a slightly different pre-show panel tonight consisting of Renee Young, Booker T, ESPN's Peter Rosenberg and Daniel Bryan—no Lita or Jerry Lawler.

Apollo Crews, American Alpha & The Hype Bros vs. Curt Hawkins, The Ascension & The Vaudevillains

RESULTS: Apollo Crews, American Alpha and The Hype Bros via pinfall (Chad Gable pins Simon Gotch)
THOUGHTS: Decent way to eat up some time, but if you missed it, you didn't miss anything.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: Heath Slater & Rhyno (c) vs. The Wyatt Family

RESULTS: The Wyatt Family win the belts via pinfall (RKO on Rhyno)
THOUGHTS: This felt super quick to me. Did it pass by very fast to you, too? It makes sense, though. Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt are far above the level Rhyno and Heath Slater are currently at.

Backstage, Dean Ambrose talks about his upcoming match with AJ Styles. Likewise, elsewhere backstage, Styles says he'll win the match. Typical promo stuff.

No Disqualification Match: Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

RESULTS: Nikki Bella wins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Kendo stick + fire extinguisher + Carmella should've won. Disappointed.

Backstage, Daniel Bryan talks about the Intercontinental Championship match. The Miz interrupts to say he wishes it were Bryan in the ring against him tonight instead.

Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

RESULTS: The Miz retains via climbing up the ladder per the rules of the match. Duh.
THOUGHTS: Best match of the night so far.

After the match, The Miz gets a microphone and dedicates the match to Daniel Bryan, saying his lack of faith in him motivated him to be the best champion ever.

Chairs Match: Kalisto vs. Baron Corbin

RESULTS: Corbin via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Chairs matches are dumb, but at least Corbin won.

SmackDown Women's Championship Tables Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss

RESULTS: Alexa Bliss wins the title via...Becky going through the table...
THOUGHTS: Not a bad match and I think the right woman won. I'm totally down with this.

WWE World Championship TLC Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

RESULTS: AJ Styles retains the championship with some help from James Ellsworth.
THOUGHTS: Good match. No complaints here.
