WWE Money in the Bank 2016 Results

Our pre-show panel consists of Renee Young, Booker T, Lita and Corey Graves.

The Golden Truth vs. Breezango

RESULTS: The Golden Truth via pinfall (Curtain Call)
THOUGHTS: Kind of a pointless win, and I could have done without the sun burn gimmick so it could have been a more even contest.

Sami Zayn goes up to Cesaro in the locker room to talk about how they've been friends for a while and they need to put that aside for the ladder match.

The Dudley Boyz vs. The Lucha Dragons

RESULTS: The Lucha Dragons via pinfall
THOUGHTS: Meh. This was better than the match before it, but still nothing really too interesting. Skippable.

Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: The New Day (c) vs. Enzo & Cass vs. The Vaudevillains vs. The Club

RESULTS: The New Day retains.
THOUGHTS: Wasn't Aiden English not the legal guy?

Kevin Owens talks to Tom Phillips backstage. He's interrupted by Chris Jericho, who takes issue with him saying he'll win. They have a good back and forth. Alberto Del Rio comes out (and Kevin Owens refers to him as "most likely to speak Spanish"). The man. Give Owens the belt!

Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

RESULTS: Baron Corbin via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: I like both guys, but I didn't really care about this, and I don't think that I'm alone, either.

Charlotte & Dana Brooke vs. Becky Lynch & Natalya

RESULTS: Charlotte and Dana Brooke via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Terrible.

After the match, Natalya turns heel by attacking Becky Lynch.

Backstage, Dean Ambrose talks to Tom Phillips about how he's going to win the Money in the Bank ladder match later on tonight.

Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews

RESULTS: Apollo Crews via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: After that last match, I honestly checked out a bit. This seemed okay, and I'm glad that Crews won. My first reaction was to dislike the pin as being too cheap, but if WWE follows this up with a more decisive win, I think it will have been the right choice. If Sheamus wins tomorrow night or at Battleground, then that will be problematic.

AJ Styles vs. John Cena

RESULTS: AJ Styles via pinfall after interference from Anderson and Gallows.
THOUGHTS: Disappointed to see that Styles could only win with outside help, but I'm not too surprised, either. The match itself was good and I'm looking forward to a second one.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Chris Jericho vs. Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose

RESULTS: Dean Ambrose retrieves the briefcase.
THOUGHTS: Shield triple threat at SummerSlam sounds good to me!

United States Championship: Rusev (c) vs. Titus O'Neil

RESULTS: Rusev retains via submission, as expected.
THOUGHTS: Nobody thought Titus had a shot, right?

After the match, Rusev goes up to Titus O'Neil's kids and tells them their dad is a loser, and wishes everyone a happy Father's Day. LOL

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins

RESULTS: Seth Rollins via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: WOW. I did not expect to see that happen.

Dean Ambrose is cashing in!

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

RESULTS: Dean Ambrose via pinfall.
THOUGHTS: Oooh man. Awesome.
