What a difference a week makes, right? A year in WWE is usually full of injuries, but the injury to champ Seth Rollins hits a little harder than any other injury possibly could have. The champ was on a roll, and was consistently one of the best parts of the show on a weekly basis. Now, the much sought after WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event at Survivor Series versus Roman Reigns will be changed to a tournament to name a new holder for the vacant title. I'm guessing there will be a series of qualifying matches tonight on Raw to decide who will enter in the tournament this coming Sunday. Who do you expect to be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament at Survivor Series? There will also be more build up towards other matches on the card at Survivor Series, and I'm sure teams will be named for the classic elimination tag match as well. Are you looking forward to Survivor Series, or do you think it'll be another let down?
PROMO: Triple H will start the how to talk about Rollins' injury, and the plans for Survivor Series. HHH acknowledges Seth and calls him a "great champion". He even went on to say that he was one of the greatest champions of all time even with his tragic injury. He plays The Authority roll so well. He brings up the fact that Roman Reigns was determined the number one contender to Seth's title, and brings him out to the ring. Triple H says the tournament will start tonight, and it seems unfair to Seth and to Roman. Unfair to Roman because he already earned his spot, but he has to do it again. HHH says that before The Authority considered Roman before Seth, and that everyone should have to fight to face him at Survivor Series. He says the chose Seth because Roman doesn't have the "willingness to do absolutely anything possible to be the man". HHH says that he is not asking Roman to do anything he has not already done, he has already earned his spot, but he needs to join forces with HHH and The Authority. He then puts the belt on Romans shoulder, and explains he is offering him everything he ever wanted since he was a boy. All he has to do is join The Authority. Roman then says he has earned everything, and has never taken a handout. He tells HHH to take his offer and shove it. Would have liked to see that happen though.. He then says Romans match starts now against Big Show!
