After a shocking Hell in a Cell event on Sunday night, Monday Night Raw will be our scene to see what will happen after the dust has settled. The night started with two shocking returns. One being Zeb Colter, and his new client.. Alberto Del Rio! Yes the Hispanic Superstar teamed with man who was once the WWE version of Donald Trump. The 3-time World Champion came back to answer John Cena's U.S. Championship Open Challenge, and walked out the new U.S. Champ! The New Day will certainly have a lot to say after again retaining their World Tag Team Championships against The Dudley Boyz. Will Corporate Kane be allowed to give a goodbye speech after his counterpart, Demon Kane, lost to Seth Rollins as he retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship? After what was a war inside the cell, will Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns be the same as the Big Dog walked out victorious. Kevin Owens will certainly be on top of the world as he knocked off Ryback to keep his Intercontinental Championship, and Charlotte retained her Diva's Championship. Finally, on his last stop on his "Go to Hell Tour" Brock Lesnar took on The Undertaker inside the cell that The Undertaker helped create. In a match that could truly have been won by either future Hall of Famer; Paul Heymans client and the Deadmans rivalry came to a close as The Beast Incarnate wins a bloody and destructive match! A legendary match for two legendary stars. As the night was coming to a close, and Taker was in the ring taking in the respect he deserves out comes The Wyatt Family. Why? All four members surround the ring, and then mercilessly attack Taker and then literally carry him away. Survivor Series build up? What will the fallout look like tonight on Raw?
They announce before the show that there will be a new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship named tonight. There will be matches where the winners will meet in a fatal-four-way to announce a new threat to Seth Rollins.
PROMO: The first promo of the night belongs to The Authority. What kind of Raw would it be without seeing them for the first 20 minutes? Stephanie talk about how much of a success Hell in a Cell was, and HHH brings up the return of Alberto Del Rio. Of course, they say Seth Rollins is leading the charge of the new generation of WWE Superstars and introduce him to come out to the ring. HHH brings up how Seth has taken every challenge head on, and emerge as champion. They express thankfulness that Seth proved them right when they said he was the future of the business. They of course bring up that he beat Demon Kane last night, and that Corporate Kane is no longer the Director of Operations. The Authority says how proud they are of Seth and they exchange hugs and what not. Seth then beings to say that he executed his greatest demon last night when he defeated Kane. Seth thanks Triple H and Steph as the crowd boos like crazy. Stephanie says that he has beaten all comers, and now there is no one left. HHH says that someone has to earn the right and privilege to face Seth, and that's what they are going to do tonight. The winners from last nights PPV will have matches, and the winners of those matches will fight in a fatal four way to determine who fights Seth next. Before Seth can say much, out comes Roman Reigns who had one hell of a brawl with Bray last night. Roman says everything that is happening in the ring right now makes him sick. The Big Dog says that by the end of the night he will be the number one contender and will eventually take Seth's title. Which is my pick to be the number one contender.

MATCH: Roman Reigns vs. Kofi Kingston
This is match number 1/4 for the number one contenders matches tonight. The winner of this match will go on to be in the fatal four way later in the night to determine the new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Looks like Roman Reigns will take on Kofi here. Is there any chance in hell Kofi wins this? Kofi starts off using his speed as an advantage ducking and dodging Roman. He then puts Roman in a headlock, but Roman throws him off the ropes and takes him down. Not long after that Reigns hits a slam and Kofi looks to regroup on the outside.
*Commercial Break*
We come back from break with Roman Reigns in control as he suplexes Kofi back into the ring off the apron. Kofi starts a comeback although as he uses his speed, but Roman does not allow it. Roman and Big E have a stare down as Kofi takes advantage of the distraction. Kofi goes for a pin, gets a two-count. He then puts Roman in the corner and just starts a barrage of kicks and punches beating him to a pulp, and then applies a sleeper hold. Reigns creates some room and hits a headbutt, but Kofi sweeps him off his feet with his speed. He goes to the top rope and hits a cross body for a two count. Both men are down as the ref reaches a seven count, and the right hands start flying. Momentum shifts to Reigns as he knocks Kofi down. After a mutiny of reversals Roman takes the upper hand with some punches and a big throw. Roman goes for a pin, but instead picks Kofi up in the pinning position and powerbombs him for a two-count. Roman then hits a spear for the win.
RESULT: Roman wins via pin fall. Roman advances to the fatal four way match.
THOUGHTS: Even though it was a given that Roman will win, Kofi helped put on an awesome match. Roman is making big strides in both mic and in-ring work and truly deserves his title shot.
PROMO: Miz cuts a promo backstage for WWE 2K16 which comes out tomorrow.

MATCH: Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro
This is match number 2/4 for the number one contenders matches tonight. The winner of this match will go on to be in the fatal four way later in the night to determine the new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
This is truly a 50/50 to me. I would assume Cesaro would pull off a win here since Owens holds the IC Title, but maybe I am being biased because Cesaro deserves it more in my opinion. We will soon find out! This match starts quickly with a few pin reversals back and forth. Cesaro hits a big right hand to stun Owens, and hits a clothesline. Owens gains control on a reversal and starts dissecting Cesaro and mocking Michael Cole. Which I love. Cesaro then uses the distraction for a delayed suplex. The two brawl on the outside of the ring, and both men are down and get in the ring at a nine count.
*Commercial Break*
We return to action with both men trading punches. Then Cesaro takes Owens on a tour of Uppercut City. Owens looked like he was going to leave, but Cesaro stops him. Owens continues to roll out of the ring, but Cesaro continues to beat on him. He is truly on a roll right now, and Cesaro has to win this. Cesaro goes for the swing, but Owens counters with a DDT for a two-count as the "THIS IS AWESOME" chants start. Cesaro hits an uppercut and goes for the swing again but Owens gets the ropes. A superkick and pop-up powerbomb later and Owens wins.
RESULT: Kevin Owens wins via pin fall. He advances to the fatal four way later tonight.
THOUGHTS: These two always put on a great match. If this is not the match of the night I'll be blown away. But dammit I'm sick of Cesaro not getting his due. He carried the pre-show match last night, and this match but gets screwed again. Nonetheless Owens advances.
PROMO: Team PCB backstage. Paige is bragging about how everyone wants a piece of Paige since shes the best diva out there. Charlotte says that if she finds out Paige attacked Natty there will be consequences. They also say Paige can come help versus Team Bella.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Team PCB vs. Team Bella
YAY! This match again!! Said no one ever.
Paige and Nikki start off. Nikki throws Paige across the ring, and Paige returns the favor and tries for a pin. After a big knee Paige goes for another pin, and gets a two-count. After a distraction Nikki takes control and tags in Alicia. Paige takes the upperhand immediately, and then tags Charlotte for a nice double team move. Alicia takes control of Charlotte and then tags Brie. Brie goes all "Brie Mode" and knees Charlotte in the face for a two-count. Charlotte counters a kick and tags in Becky. Becky is on fire and takes out Brie in a heartbeat. Everyone gets in the ring and all hell breaks lose. Nikki seems to be the legal person and hits the forearm and the Rack Attack for the win.
Paige then unloads on Charlotte out of nowhere! She hits two Rampaiges on Charlotte and Becky. Then places her PTO on Charlotte for shits and giggles. That was awesome. Heel Paige is the best Paige.
RESULT: Team Bella wins.
THOUGHTS: My only thought is.. THANK GOD ITS OVER. 6 Diva tag matches are not that entertaining. Paige turning on her teammates for good saved this entire segment.
*Commercial Break*
They play a video package and segment about The Undertaker and Brock Lesnars final battle that happened inside the cell last night.
PROMO: Zeb and Alberto Del Rio are being interviewed by Renee. She asks the obvious question.. Why the awkward combo between these two? Zeb says they are starting a new country called "MexAmerica" where Mexico and America are one. Zeb and Alberto are the only two MexAmericans.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Neville vs. Alberto Del Rio
This is match number 3/4 for the number one contenders matches tonight. The winner of this match will go on to be in the fatal four way later in the night to determine the new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Alberto Del Rio starts off on top here with a shoulder tackle. He then quickly goes for the arm bar but Neville stops it, but then gets thrown out of the ring. Side note: Zeb had no cart in the pre match interview.. But is now in his little speed racer whilst the match is happening. Back to the match though. Neville uses a great counter to plant Del Rio. After a cross body Del Rio kicks out at two.
*Commercial Break*
We come back to ADR in control. After a spinning back breaker, ADR gets a two-count. Neville finally starts to come back, but Del Rio rolls out of the ring for a break. Neville counters that move with a dive over the ropes because gravity forgot about him. Neville gets him back in the ring and gets a nice DDT. Del Rio counters and hits a running kick and gets a two-count much to the motor cart managers displeasure. Del Rio goes for the arm breaker, Neville counters, ADR hits a nasty clothesline. Neville goes to the top rope, but Del Rio makes him pay, with two boots to the chest for the win.
RESULT: Del Rio wins via pin fall. Del Rio advances to the fatal four way later tonight.
THOUGHTS: I personally love the fact that Del Rio is back. He is a great heel in my opinion because its so easy to hate this mans guts with every inch of your being. Its great to have him back and this was an okay match. Its odd that Del Rio has not used his finisher in either match he has been in.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: The Dudley Boyz & Ryback vs. Sheamus, King Barrett, & Rusev
Before this match even starts all six men beat the crap out of one another in the ring. Eventually, D-Von and Sheamus start off the match. Sheamus gets beaten down for a two-count. D-Von continues to hold the upper hand until Barrett distracts him, and Sheamus tags in Rusev. Rusev gets a two-count after a series of elbows. Barrett, who has done nothing since winning King of the Ring, then comes in. D-Von regains control, but not for long as Sheamus gets tagged back in. Sheamus uses his weight and locks in a choke-hold. He then tags in Barrett once again who hits a punches and then tags in Rusev. D-Von finally hits a clothesline, and tags in Ryback. Ryback hits a few clothesline on Barrett, and then tags in Bubba. Bubba and D-Von then join Ryback in the FEED ME MORE chants as they all hit a Meathook clothesline. Then the classic headbutt from the top-rope by D-Von. Bubba then calls for a table. As Ryback and D-Von are getting tables, Barrett gets a roll-up pin for the win.
RESULT: Rusev, King Barrett, and Sheamus win via pin fall.
THOUGHTS: The Dudley Boyz continue to lose in weird ways. DQ's by New Day their entire rivalry, and now a roll up pin. Does not make much sense to me in all honesty, but I know its a matter of time before they hold the tag titles again. My guess is TLC in a TLC match. Side note: I'm loving this foreign stable Rusev, Barrett, and Sheamus have going on.
*Commercial Break*
PROMO: Bray Wyatt explains why he and The Wyatt family carried Taker away last night after beating him senseless after the main event. Bray says that Taker never had an equal, everyone feared him, but last night the apocalypse came and showed its face. He also makes one thing clear, he and Roman will "dance" again but not until he is revitalized. The destruction of The Undertaker has become his resurrection. He says that as he is speaking he is feasting on Takers soul, and he will have more. Bray then asks everyone to bow their heads, and everyone at home puts their hands on their TV and share a moment of silence for Taker who has lost his soul to Bray Wyatt. Damn he is a promo master. OUT COMES DEMON KANE! Everything goes dark as the rest of the family surround the ring. Kane takes Harper and Rowen out and stands up against Stroman. He takes it to Stroman but it stopped by Harper. He takes everyone out. Standing alone with Bray. Then The Wyatt Family uses number games to beat him senseless much like Undertaker last night. They then carry him away exactly like Taker. I really really like this story so far. Both Brothers of Destruction have been taken out setting up for one hell of a tag match sometime.
*Commercial Break*
MATCH: Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E
This is match number 4/4 for the number one contenders matches tonight. The winner of this match will go on to be in the fatal four way later in the night to determine the new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
I would honestly love a Ziggler and Rollins rivalry for the belt. That would be some great matches for sure. Before the match starts Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae comes to ringside. Basically guaranteeing Big E will win here. Which is also fine with me. Big E has been a mainstay for the best thing in the WWE with New Day. Well deserved if he does win.
Ziggler starts off quick. But Big E uses his strength to take advantage. Tossing Ziggler around like a stick. Big E uses a shoulder tackle for a big hit. Big E continues his dominance of Ziggler. Finally Ziggler gets going but Kofi causes a distraction for Big E to take advantage again.
*Commercial Break*
We come back to Big E still dominating. He goes for a pin but Ziggler kicks out at two. Big E goes for a slam, but Dolph counters into a sleeper hold in the center of the ring. After a minute, Big E escapes and shoulder spears Ziggler in the corner. Dolph goes for a Famouser, but Big E counters into a power bomb for a two-count. E continues to target the mid section of Dolph. Dolph gets a quick drop kick stunning Big E. Dolph showing resiliency with a neck breaker and an elbow for a two-count. Then Big E catapults Dolph into the ring post and he has a nasty landing. Dolph hits the Famouser in the ring but only gets two. Big E hits a huge splash for a two-count. Big E goes for another splash, but gets met with a super kick for a two-count. After two reversals Dolph hits a Zig-Zag for the win!
RESULT: Ziggler wins via pin fall. He is now in the fatal four way!
THOUGHTS: AMAZING MATCH! Big E and Kofi, even thought both lost, showed they are amazing singles competitors. The fatal four way now consists of Ziggler, Del Rio, Reigns, and Owens!
PROMO: Dean and Roman backstage, Dean tells Roman that he has been so close all his career, now its right in front of him and he needs to take it.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH: Ziggler vs. Del Rio vs. Owens vs. Reigns
Okay, so there is no way I will be able to keep up with this match like I normally do for other matches because so much will be going on between four guys. So instead of covering it so deeply I'll just hit the highlights for you guys. If I tried to cover it like normal, this would look worse than Donald Trumps hair in the wind. This is for the best, I promise.
My prediction is Roman Reigns walking out your new number one contender. Cannot see Del Rio or Owens since they already have titles, and Ziggler does not usually get the big win as much as I want him to. Its Romans time, and I'm okay with that.
Here's your match highlights.
- Seth joins the group on commentary and has a cool stare down moment with Roman.
- Del Rio jumps off the barricade onto Dolph, Owens stops beating on Roman in the ring to watch.
- Roman Reigns clears the ring with Samoan drops.
- Roman eats a dirty super kick from Ziggler.
- Del Rio and Owens teaming up was a cool sight.
- Owens turning on Del Rio was just as cool.
- Del Rio super kicking Owens literally out of the ring.
- Ziggler plants his crazy delayed DDT on Roman.
- Roman turns Famouser into power bomb.
- Superman punch on Ziggler.
- Famouser on Del Rio for a two-count.
- Double cannonball on Ziggler and Del Rio with Roman drop kicking Del Rio.
- Roman turns pop-up power bomb into Superman punch and spear combo to win.
RESULT: Roman Reigns pins Kevin Owens to be named the new number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
THOUGHTS: I called it. Roman was the only choice that made a lot of sense. Even though Ziggler and Rollins would tear any house down every single night. But it is clear he is going to be feuding with Tyler Breeze. Nonetheless, this was an AMAZING match by all four competitors. High spots for everyone. Roman is 10x better than he was even at WrestleMania. A Roman vs. Rollins title feud should be a great one!
