WWE NXT TakeOver: Respect Spoilers

NXT TakeOver 30 Minute Iron Woman Match Sasha Banks vs Bayley

[NXT Women's Championship 30-Minute Iron (Wo)Man Match]: Bayley (c) vs. Sasha Banks

Bayley will be retaining here and this will be the match of the night, if not the best divas' match of the year or even of the past several years.

PREDICTION: Bayley retains the championship.

WWE NXT TakeOver Respect Crews vs Breeze match

Tyler Breeze vs. Apollo Crews

Well, I assumed Breeze would face Bull Dempsey and Crews would face someone else, so I didn't expect this. Now that this match is happening, I have to assume Breeze tries to cheat in some capacity and Dempsey distracts him, allowing Crews to win. It just makes sense, seeing as how Crews is the new guy who will be featured for at least a few more weeks and should end up looking stronger with a victory rather than giving something random like this to Breeze.

PREDICTION: Apollo Crews wins.

WWE NXT TakeOver Respect Finn Balor Samoa Joe vs Scott Dawson Dash Wilder

[Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Semifinals]: Finn Balor & Samoa Joe vs. The Mechanics

I have to admit that I'm surprised The Mechanics are getting this opportunity. I would have imagined Jason Jordan and Chad Gable would be in this spot and two other tag teams would have potentially replaced Team Ready Willing and Gable against Corbin and Rhyno.

As such, I expect to see Balor and Joe win, hands down. Balor is the champion and it would be weird to see him not in the finals. More on that down below.

PREDICTION: Balor and Joe win.

WWE NXT TakeOver Respect Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic SemiFinals

[Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Semifinals]: Baron Corbin & Rhyno vs. Jason Jordan & Chad Gable

Since I thought Jordan and Gable would be going against Balor and Joe in my previous scenario, I would have thought Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady or The Vaudevillains would be facing Corbin and Rhyno here. Having a heel vs. heel team is very odd, so I'm really curious as to why this happened. That means we're not getting the most over team in NXT on two special events in a row, even when one of those is a tag team show, nor are we getting the tag team champions!! This is nuts.

There's actually a chance Jordan and Gable get the win here, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. The two others are stronger, bigger, and more important stars.

PREDICTION: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable win.

[Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Finals]

As I indicated above, I'm expecting this match to consist of Finn Balor and Samoa Joe against Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. The outcome of this is tough, as it could go one of two ways: first, the babyfaces can win due to just working better as a team. It would make sense to celebrate some faces while celebrating Dusty Rhodes more so than heels, right? Also, Balor is the champion, so he shouldn't really lose by all rational logic.

Then again, what if Samoa Joe turns heel? He could turn on Balor, cost them the match, and start a feud for the NXT Championship. Balor doesn't have a true #1 contender lined up and this would be a feud people would want to see. It's tough to call, as Balor's next opponent could easily just be Baron Corbin or Rhyno and no heel turn can take place (at least, not yet), but I wouldn't be surprised if WWE pulled the trigger on a turn.

PREDICTION: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable win.

WWE NXT TakeOver Respect Dana Brooke vs Asuka

Asuka vs. Dana Brooke

Kana's made her debut as Asuka and already has been thrown into a feud with Dana Brooke and Emma. Since nobody was set up as a potential tag team partner for Asuka, along with how there are already three tag team matches on the card, it makes sense for this to be a singles match. Emma will no doubt accompany Dana Brooke to the ring and try to get involved, but Asuka should have a relatively strong outing nonetheless and come out on top. After all, it's her debut.

PREDICTION: Asuka wins.
