Each week, DIVAS DEBRIEF runs down the events that transpired in women's professional wrestling from the past couple of days. From the WWE Divas to the TNA Knockouts and the up-and-comers in NXT, Smark Out Moment attempts to keep you up to date on all things going on with the ladies of the ring.

This week, Nikki Bella employed her sister to play mind games with Divas Champion AJ Lee, Sasha Banks looked to get one over Charlotte in tag team action, and Gail Kim received her rematch for the TNA Knockouts Championship against the destructive Havok.

WWE Monday Night Raw

The Divas division did not receive as much exposure on RAW as it has done in recent weeks. But, it focused in on the tension between Divas Champion AJ Lee and Nikki Bella. Nikki won the Halloween Costume Battle Royal on SmackDown last week to earn the title match, and is wasting little time to show the champ how much of a threat she can be. This week, Nikki took on Emma, with AJ looking on from the announce table, and of course, the enslaved Brie Bella in her sister's corner.

Nikki was in control for most of the match, never wasting a chance to taunt AJ at ringside, as the champion laughed off the threat she posed on commentary. Nikki is certainly improving in employing her strength to manage the pace, and her heel persona shines through. Although Emma gets in a little offense, Nikki doesn't have to rely on a distraction from Brie this week. A dropkick to the charging Aussie knocks her down, and one Rack Attack later she has another win.

However, the real meat of this segment happened post-match, as Nikki instructed her sister and personal assistant Brie to approach AJ at the announce table. Brie looked despondent as she reluctantly slapped the champ across the face. This unsurprisingly resulted in her being knocked to the floor by AJ, and the Crazy diva then chased her number one contender to the stage. Can AJ overcome Nikki with her sister performing her bidding from the outside?

TNA Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling has slowly been rebuilding its Knockout division in recent months after a severe number of departures. The tension being brewed between Madison Rayne and Taryn Terrell, the continued presence of the Beautiful People, the emergence of Rebel, and the bizarre and revolting love being shared between Brittany and Samuel Shaw has the majority of division involved in storylines at the moment.

There was only one Knockout match this week however, but it was a big one. Gail Kim received her rematch against the dominant and vindictive Havok with the Knockouts title on the line. Havok has shown no discrimination in her demolishing of the rest of the women on the roster, as Kim found out when she lost the belt. Kim has shown no fear in her pursuit of Havok, but is that fire enough to regain her beloved championship?

But, the match nearly doesn't take place at all. Kim immediately takes the fight to Havok on the stage, only to be knocked away by the powerful champion. Despite the unwillingness to surrender, Kim is utterly wrecked, being thrown head first into the ring post, then thrown off the ramp hard onto her arm. Kim, despite her clear injuries, insists that the match will go ahead.

What followed was possibly the greatest women's match of the year, as despite only a short amount of time to work in, the two told an excellent story. Havok was a dominant heel, exploiting the damaged arm and tossing Kim around with ease. Kim played the gutsy underdog superbly, with a mix of high-flying, submissions and reversals, including an Eat De-Feet that got the crowd standing in excitement. It also included a sick spot where Kim was dropped from a height head first onto the steel steps. In the end, the heart of Kim was not enough to stop the monster, as Havok retained following the Harlot Slayer. After this performance, I finally recognize how good Havok is, and her spot as champion is well-deserved if she continues to produce classics like this.

WWE NXT

The NXT ladies week in and week out have shown their talent that has heavily outweighed that shown on the main roster at this moment in time. On the latest episode, they were given a lot of time to showcase their skills in tag team action. The main story surrounded NXT Women's Champion Charlotte, who will soon be defending her precious belt against Sasha Banks. The two were on opposite sides, Charlotte teaming with Bayley and Banks allied with Becky Lynch.

It was a match of two halves, as Lynch took the brunt of the early match assault. After turning on Bayley a fortnight ago, she suffered at the hands of the bubbly diva and the Nature Girl. But, it was apparent Charlotte was more interested in getting her hands on Banks, chasing her around the ring and taunting her on the apron.

Banks did eventually get involved in the action, but only when Bayley was the victim in the ring. Quick tags were made between the catty and vicious Banks and the more powerful and crisp Lynch. Bayley fought through the pain and looked to make the tag to the champion. Lynch tried to block her off, only to be thrown through the ropes to the outside. However, there she was able to knock Charlotte off the apron. With nobody to tag in, Bayley was caught in a roll-up with a handful of tights, giving Banks a win to brag about over her rival.

WWE SmackDown

On SmackDown, the divas division received a backstage interview and match. The first part of this equation was short but well executed, carrying on from the events of Monday Night. AJ Lee in her interview explains that she understands why Brie Bella did what she did on RAW, and that Nikki will take any advantage possible to take her title. Brie approaches AJ, seemingly to apologize, but as AJ informs her that she knows the situation, the champ is attacked from behind by her challenger Nikki. Nikki says Brie did a good job, and the sisters leave with AJ in a heap on the ground.

Immediately after was the sole divas match of the evening, as Natalya took on Summer Rae, with Layla by the dancer's side and Nattie's husband Tyson Kidd on commentary. Earlier in the evening Kidd had been talking to Summer and Layla, until Natalya got them to leave. Also, their feud on Total Divas has been well documented, so there should be little love lost in this bout.

Summer gets in the early offense, slapping Natalya before connecting with a spinning kick. After breaking out of a submission hold, it was all the Canadian. She slams, kicks and lariats Summer all over the ring, whilst Kidd talks on about his own accomplishments over the last week. In the end, he steps away from the announce table to tell Natalya to apply the Sharpshooter, the brief distraction allowing Summer to roll her up (another roll-up are you serious WWE?) and get the victory as Kidd stares at his wife in disappointment.

So there you have it, the breakdown for the week in women's wrestling. What were some of your favorite and least favorite moments from these women? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
