This week's episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown was taped on September 23, 2014 at the Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arksanas. The following are spoilers for the results of what transpired during the show:

Dean Ambrose defeated The Miz

Cesaro won a battle royal to become the #1 contender to the Intercontinental Championship

The Usos defeated Stardust and Goldust via disqualification

Layla and Summer Rae defeated Natalya and Rosa Mendes

Dolph Ziggler defeated Cesaro in an Intercontinental Championship match

Big Show defeated Rusev via disqualification, then knocked Rusev out with the WMD to end the show
