OTW Summer Brawl Results - August 16, 2014

Posted by Anthony Mango Tuesday, August 19, 2014
Old Time Wrestling is an independent professional wrestling organization located in Williamstown, New Jersey, focusing on classic pro wrestling styles and a family environment. This past Saturday, August 16th, was the annual SUMMER BRAWL show.

At the previous event, Top of the World, a new champion was still not decided for the vacated OTW Heavyweight Championship after Brian Johnson and Adam Chandler fought to a draw in their 2-out-of-3-falls match. At Summer Brawl, the score would be settled in a ladder match.

Here are the results of the show:

[Tag Team Tournament]: Winners = Wild & Crazy

- After Mean Streak attacked Steve Sanders and Jimmy Lloyd, they were placed in the tournament.
- If Mean Streak were to win, they would be announced as the greatest tag team in OTW history. If they were to lose, the winning team would earn a Tag Team Championship title shot on September 6th
- Wild & Crazy defeated Mean Streak in the finals

[OTW Classic Championship]: "The Thriller" Andd Bivians defeated Joe Caldo

- Later on in the evening, Andd Bivians would turn his back on Mik Drake, Bev Berwick, and the OTW Fan Nation, aligning himself with PRR Incorporated.

[OTW Heavyweight Championship - Ladder Match]: "Number 1" Brian Johnson defeated Adam Chandler the Great

OTW's regular season of 2pm shows starts September 6th with monthly 7pm evening shows as well. How will the new OTW Heavyweight champion fend against his next challenger? Will Andd Bivians answer for his actions? Can Wild & Crazy defeat Mean Streak for the OTW Tag Team Championship?

Stay tuned to www.oldtimewrestling.net for news on the upcoming shows every Saturday at 2pm with monthly special events at 7pm.
